I'm waiting on hold at the moment in the 14 day returns department: 191 then option 4.
Will post my results
EDIT: Off phone, said SIM only can't be reduced further, whats available is whats available. Might request a PAC and move to o2: £15 for 200 mins, 400 texts, unlimited o2 minutes. Then again, I want my £90 cashback!
I returned a phone to Voda within 14 days and Quidco paid out too. No guarantee but you never just know......0 -
I rang up to renegotiate mine this week - was on Anytime 75 mins, stop the clock + 100 texts + rollover at £16 a month. when I rang I mentioned some of the deals mentioned here and Virgin's Liberty at £15 a month. I never go over the minutes or texts so really wanted a reduction in monthly cost and got it for £10 for 12 months.
The person who spoke to me said that if I got a new contract then I would lost the stop the clock and this was worth hanging on to for evenings and weekends.Books - the original virtual reality.

I rang Vodafone again today and I am most unhappy. When I called before they offered me a pretty good deal on the text and talktime but I wanted to have a better phone and even said I was happy to make a contribution in order to get a better quality phone. This time they wouldnt even offer me the same deal as they did last month, I was told they get lots of people ringing to get better phones and still pay the same. They also said that the offer made before was only valid for 24 hours even though this wasn't mentioned to me AND the operator said he would ring me two days later (which he failed to do)
Their new "offer" was the phone I requested, 18 month contract, 150 minutes and 500 texts for £20 pm for 15 mths increasing to £25 for the remaining 3 months of the contract (and presumably thereafter) - my previous offer had been £12.50 per month for this including a nokia 6300 + 3 months free insurance.
The PAC number is on its way.0 -
Let them ring you - a number ending in 133 - they willoffer you a much better offer... tell them exactly what you want and then negotiate...0

Hi,
I don't really know about contract phones, but i am currently on 1000 texts and 150 mins with vodafone for £25 a month. This ends on 3rd October. Looking to get the Samsung f490 or tocco on a similar plan, only unlimited texts.
What should i do, is there anyway i could persuade vodafone to offer me this phone just now. Currently have the nokia 7373 and its very poor, can hardly phone anybody as there is a fault with the phone and tbh cant wait to get rid lol.
Would appreciate any help:):)

I have just been offered and accepted a free Nokia N95 8GB on a 18 month contract for 14.95 a month, I get 100 mins and 150 txts with rollover.:j I had rang them on Friday to upgrade but there offers were no good and i told them i wanted my code as i was going over to 3. Less than 24 hours they rang me and asked why i wanted to move.
I dont think i could have done any better0 -

Phone customer services (191) and ask them when you are eligible for an upgrade. If they say you can now ask them you'd rather cancel. They will try and offer an upgrade but refuse and say you want a PAC code. Even then if they offer you a good deal with the phone with the upgrades department insist on the pac code and hang up. You should then receive a call from the retention department who will offer you a much better deal. After that its up to you what tariff you choose with the phone.
If you cannot upgarde yet ask them when and ring then them again after that date and follow instructions above.
I went through a similar situation and got offered a good deal with retentions.
Hope this helps.0
