I requested my PAC code Sunday evening, got a phone call when I was at work each day Mon, Tue and Wed (including 3 times Wed) which I couldn't take. I am day off today and they haven't rang me once!!! LOL You couldn't make it up :wall:0

They must be reading this forum as they have just phoned me! Asked what I wanted which was a Samsung Galaxy S3 on a short term contract (12 month ideally) and for around £30 a month. I was told that they couldnt offer me the phone for that price as they needed to recoup the cost of the phone and £30 x 12 is not enough for that as no network would offer it. I was not offered anything else so told them I would look elsewhere.
Presumably, I will get another phone call?0 -

My contract of 2 years runs out on 24/11/12 and on my Vodafone app it says I can upgrade from 10/09/12. I'm looking to get on a better price plan or switch to PAYG. I currently pay about £48 a month for 1200 mins unlimited texts and 650mb data which seems pretty poor deal to me. I'm halfway through the month and have used 4 minutes and 50mb so i'm clearly not on the right tariff. Would I be able to switch to PAYG from the 10/9 or would I need to wait till November to do that or are there better options available to me?0 -
My 24 month contract with vodafone ends soon. I pay £50/month. I don't need a handset and am looking at the virgin mobile contract @ £12.50/month for 1200 minutes unlimited texts and 1gb internet. What chance that vodafone will match?0

Probably zero, it's worth a phone call though. Make sure you request your PAC code so retentions call you, they are able to offer the best deals.0

Hi people
I have had a call from retentions last week asking what I was looking for but they couldn't offer me what I wanted. Are they likely to phone again with another offer or is that it now?
Ideally, I would like them to phone again as would like to see if I can agree to anything else.0 -
A lot of people on here don't seem to be negotiating very well, Ive currently been offered the Samsung S3 1200 mins, unltd texts, 2gb data on a 24 month deal for £26 per month, and they won't better my sim only deal of 900 mins, unltd texts and 500mb data, I'm doubting weather to accept the S3 deal as although it's a good deal they've really taken the mick with me this last month!
I may switch to t mobile as they've got the unltd deal of unltd, calls , texts and data for only £21 a month on a 12 month sim only deal, then you get £80 cash back from top cash back if you go through their website, al though the deal is directly with t mobile. Working out to around £15.50 a month!0 -

Did you look for a contract with another network?0 -
No I haven't contacted anyone else yet about other deals. I am after upgrading to a galaxy s3 on a 18 month deal with 600 mins, unlimited texts with as cheap as poss line rental.
Am also thinking about the possibility of selling the Samsung when iPhone 5 comes out and buying a sim free iPhone 5 and moving my contract on to that if that's possible.0
