I had requested a pac 30days from end, they called the same day.
On both numbers i have, one white one black
Much to my (not) surprise they billed it wrong, ignored emails etc. - after a month they have now done it all as agreed - but like the person above, every time they make a mistake that costs me money!0 -
Your right. I made the mistake of agreeing to a decent sounding upgrade deal.
After checking through everything it's one heck of a rip off. The discounts are for only parts of the contract term and it actually works out cheaper to buy the handset in question sim free and go on sim only contract with another network.
Just cancelled everything and I'm off.
With Vodafone your paying premium prices for pee poor service.0 -
Strange, I have a contrasting experience with a renewal for a SIM only contract as I purchase handsets myself.
Phoned up last night to the upgrades team and was told there wasn't much flexibility on the price plans, though I could have £5 off a month and keep my current plan. Fair enough, told them I would think about it. Tonight phoned up the team for those thinking of leaving and explained I'm happy with minutes and texts but I'd like more data (T-Mobile would offer me 250MB more for £2.50 less per month) - she went away for a couple of minutes to speak to a manager and came back to tell me they'd match T-Mobile's price but give me double minutes and 1GB data. Quite pleased with that as they are the best network quality and signal wise around here. No fuss and no PAC code in the end, just took a quick chat with the 1st line retentions team.0 -
I have left Vodafone after being with them for years. I cancelled my contract and the deals they rang and offered me were rubbish.
Went to Talkmobile for £15 per month, galaxy ace 2, 250 mins/5000 texts/500mb data with £40 cash back from Quidco~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

So you know the "Upgrades" and "Disconnections" are the same people.0

Gave up trying to discuss upgrades as every time I rang I got told a different story. Written a letter but not heard anything back. This was two weeks ago. How long before I should resend the letter with a cover as well?0

Request your PAC or cancellation (if you're in your last 30 days or out of your minimum term) and they should be in touch. What phone and minutes/texts/data are you looking for?0

Which phone are you after?0
