I got a PAC code about 3 weeks ago now. I still did not get a call from retentions. Is there a trick to get them to call me? Or should I just assume that Vodafone have too much money and do not wish to keep me as a customer?

It would appear they usually call within a few days, what deal are you currently on and do you ever have addditional charges on your bill?

I am on a 30-day rolling SIM-only plan, which is 600 minutes and 500mb data, costs 21/month. Only rare extra charges. Been on this plan for about 1.5 years.

Vodafone have burnt their bridges, I'm off to TalkMobile! £8 SIM only 6 month and £30 cashback from Quidco if it tracks.

And it has, £3 a month for 6 months for 300/3000/500mb data, in your face vodafone.
4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.

It's just far too big for a phone. If you want something that straddles the line between phone and tablet then I'm sure it's an impressive device, but I don't see much use for it personally.

I've just got the following upgrade from Vodafone.

Samsung Galaxy S2 (black) - no upfront cost for handset
    300 mins
    Unlimited texts
    1GB data allowance
    18 month contract

    £22.50 per month

Very pleased with this. I got it by asking to cancel, getting my PAC code and waiting a couple of days for retentions to call back. The only slip-up I made was I forgot to ask for BT Openzone but I'm not too bothered about that.

asked for pac code got a phone call next day got to keep on my current contract for £23 and haggled to keep my vodafone stop the clock as they wanted to take it away.

    got samsung s2 (free)
    600 mins
    unlimited texts
    500 mb internet
    voda stop the clock
24 month contract at £23 a month what you think?

yep, the don't seem interested and its far cheaper on other networks.

Im after an upgrade to a Samsung galaxy s2 but they want £36 a month for 24 months.
tesco are offering it for £20.42 but when I asked instore they said they could do it on an 18mth contract, to sway the deal.

Ive beenw ith Vodaphone for a few years but the signal near me is getting worse and the internet is hopeless in most areas

Make sure you get wifi and 0845 numbers included for the full year discount and get confirmation by email. Saves a lot of hassle further down the line

Thanks very much fatboy88, I just got the above deal through emailing customer services and stating I would not be renewing my contract. Got phonecall less than 24 hours later offering the above deal whne I quoted the "3 sim only deal".

Just waiting for confirmation email now.:money:
