If you request your PAC, will that automatically cancel the contract too? Or can you continue using the contract provided you don't use the PAC within 30 days?

The contract doesn't end, until the PAC is used.

I have occasionally been checking my "personal" Vodafone "upgrades" page every week or so, just to see what they have and what they might offer me.

With all the "new phone and plan" line rental prices though, they seem to have upped them by odd amounts (well, odd for Vodafone anyway) like increasing from £40 to £46 a month for a certain conbination.

Strangely they have not altered the "sim only" deals though.

Still massively overpriced though; I am still looking at buying a PAYG handset and a 12 month sin only tie in they offered me on the phone for half price.

my contract up today so rang for my pac code.

    offered:
    24 months
    galaxy s
    300 min
    ul txts
    500mb

so I told them to send me my pac code.

    I wanted 18 month contract.

If I wanted S2 then it would be £25 per month.

I phoned them up today and got offered:

    500mb data
    600 minutes
    unlimited texts
10 pound a month for insurance 50 quid for the handset and 25 pound a month I think it was.

Is alot better than what they have on their website but its 50 quid more for the handset than online and 3 pound per month dearer than the insurance. But is still not a bad deal but not great they said I could phone back when I had decided what I wanted to do about it.

£20 per month with 3 months free insurance.

Tronski, can I ask how you got that deal? It's pretty much exactly what I'm after...

    Thanks!

Was on a SIM only deal, 300 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb internet paying £15. Contacted Vodafone using online form and code WRT135 and got a call today offering to reduce it to £10. Happy with that as I use Vodafone Family a lot and didnt want to leave. Worth a shot.

I was in the last month of my contract and had already requested my PAC. I gave them a call and said I only really wanted to spend about £20 pcm. They'd previously offered me the same deal at £25. My husband called straight after and got the same deal. Hope that helps.

Two months out of contract, rang today said I was happy with my current deal

    18 month contract
    600 mins
    unlimited texts
    500 internet

Was offered free Galaxy s 11, £30 a month, same as I'm paying, with six months half price. I'm pleased with that, if I'd have upgraded on line they wanted £66 for phone.
if i had known then what i know now
