I can upgrade my contract now - my 24 months is up june 8th. I wasn't happy to find out as soon as I entered "upgrade period" my discount that I was given when i took out the contract ended. it took about 8 emails before they finally gave it back to me as a goodwill gesture.
Not sure I want to stay with vodafone.
Currently pay £20 per month for 300 mins, unlimited text & 500mb plus I had a free Tocco (not lite) which ended up down the toilet 12 months ago so i had to buy a new handset.
It's DD contract. She thinks she wants a HTC but not sure which one. She wants pingchat.
Have thought of going sim only deal for a while but will this mean I won't get a decent upgrade offer from voda when she wants a new phone. She is too stressed to think phones at moment as she's getting ready for GCSEs~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

Very disapointed with Vodafone
I emailed for my PAC code and asked what it would be to carry on sim only 600mins unlim text and internet this is the reply I got. Not a very good deal at all. I can only asume they do not want my custom? with an offer like that.
and is valid for 30 days from today - you should also receive confirmation of this via SMS in the next two hours.
Your current price plan is £20.42 including VAT - this is the price it would continue to run at if you were to purchase your handset outright.
Kind regards

I'm due for an upgrade and I'm looking for a HTC Desire HD. Currently pay £25 for 300mins and unlimited texts and have been with them for about 4 years.
Not bothered about many minutes rarely use more than 100 a month but would like unlimited texts. Not too bothered about internet as I use wifi
Vodafone website showing for 18 month contract £40 a month and free phone (total £720) or £35 a month and £99 for the phone (total (£729) what can I realistically expect to get this down too? (Don't want 24 month contract if i can help it)0 -
I think Vodaphone have left this thread as they have not been around for a long time? The measure of love is love without measure0

My Current Contract is:
Free HTC Magic
600 Mins
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Web (500mb FU)
18 Month Contract
@ £23.48/pm
very similar to eysteve's contract I've already got my PAC code as they gave it to me over the phone, contract ends in April. I'd love an HTC Desire HD or a Samsung Nexus S at £20/pm for 24 months if they offer it... lets hope I get a call from outbound retentions!
if not it's an Orange San Francisco and GiffGaff for me =]
very interested to hear what you can get, as i have the same for £20 a month.
my first call was with a guy who had no clue, he offered me the galaxy ace for £25 a month on a 24 month contract, and wanted £140 for the phone!!
I told him that was rubbish as the standard offer is the ace phone free on a £25 a month contract, but he said there was a limit to what they could offer me - why should i have to pay £140 more than a new customer as a loyal customer?! its crazy.0 -
