You wont get cashback staying with Voda, that's for new customers.

You'd have to leave, then re-sign up.

  • just started new contract with vodafone on an HTC DESIRE HD FOR £20 a month 300 minutes , unlimited texts and 750 MB of internet , takes a lot of haggling but they wouldnt go any cheaper , you need to keep phoning till you get a helpfull operator . Also got free delivery and no upfront costs.:j
  • Anyone had any experience in getting a better value SIM only deal out of VF? I've been offered the bog standard 300 min, unlimited SMS + 500MB data at £15 p/m for 12 mths. I know 3's £10 p/m offers 300 min, 3000 SMS (equal VF definition of 'unlimited') + 1GB data so wondering if they'd beat/match it?

They offered me £10 a month for 300 mins, 3000 texts and 500mb of data. So basically the same offer you got offered for £15.

That was only about 2 weeks ago, took a bit of work to get it out of them.

I also called for my PAC yesterday, not a big spender these days (planning on shifting out to a cheaper PAYG/30 day deal) so not expecting any deals to be offered, but will keep the thread updated if anything does happen.
Well so far we have... my PAC code didn't arrive within the alloted time (as ever), so I called again on Saturday morning. After being offered the standard tariffs from the website, the guy was able to give me the code then and there. Much better.

Since I first asked for the code I have received many calls from numerous 08 numbers, all clearly Vodafone that are just silence when I answer for a few seconds then the call is dropped.

Today I received a text from them saying I will be called to be given my PAC (er great, another), and when they did, guess what? Silence followed by a dropped call.

They're not very good at this.

I called for my PAC last week and got the call a day later. No iPhone offers at all (as expected) so I asked what they could do as their best deal on a Samsung Galaxy S and was offered..

    600 mins
    unlimited texts
    unlimited data (presume 1gb)
    18 month contract for £25 a month.

Not sure what to do, as I'm tempted to wait for the Galaxy S 2 - and either get that, or get an iPhone 4 if it drives the price down.

I've called to request my PAC. The guy on the other end couldn't offer a better deal or even match it. Could only comment on 3's inferior 3G speeds which won't bother me that much as my data use is not that intensive on the move and I'm on wi-fi a lot anyway when at home or the office.

Going to wait a day or so to see if retentions come calling...

Wayhey, I finally got called by them and wasn't instantly cut off :D

"Yeah you're a great customer, we love you! Here's a crap 12 month tariff off our website, despite you wanting little/no commitment"
