Vodafone Retention Deals

Someone did call me from the outbound retentions department and offered me the following deal which I accepted:
Nokia 95 8GB – Free
12 Month Contract
500 mins, 1000 texts
Bluetooth headset and Car charger
3 months free insurance
1 month free internet
£30 per month
Considering that all my previous monthly bills never went over the monthly charge (£40), I’m pleased with the deal offered to me. Especially as I originally got the phone on a 12 month contract with FULL cash back, with only the last claim to go!

I have 5 months left of an 18 month contract...and there are way better deals available now, I am paying £30 a month for 200 mins plus 500 txts, although it was half price for 6 months to start with.
When can I approach VF about a better price plan/new phone0 -

I managed to get a Nokia N95 8GB free, 200x-net mins, 500 texts and stop the clock for £30 a month (..keeping the tariff I'm currently on) with 3 months half price line rental on a 12 month contract.
I'm very happy with this offer as the first one I had from retentions was a free Nokia N95 8GB with a 100mins and 50 texts for £25 for 12 months.
Just be patient and be prepared to wait and don't accept the first offer.0 -

Thats the tariff I am on, but there are loads better tariffs out there now, even Vf themselves hav a £30 a month with 600 mins plus unlimited txts with a free fone tariff, for 18 month contract and t mobile hav their flex 35 tariff on ffer at 22.50 with free fone and 1000 mins or 2000 txts or a combo of both...I wouldnt be happy at the deal you got0 -
just rang 191
waited 20 mins!
spoke to a lady. said i wanted the n95 black. she said battery life isn't good. then she said she couldn't do a deal as it's a premium phone. funny how premium phone has crap battery.
she then transferred me to retention. waited another 5-10 mins!
spoke to some dude, and he said £150 for phone.
thanks but no thanks, so PAC code 3-5 working days.
so hope for a outbound call.
want to upgrade to accounts:
1) 200 mins + 250 txt @ £26.50
2) 75 mins + 100 txt @ £20
i want both to have n95 black and not pay more than £20 each on at least 200 mins + 100 txt.
wish me luck0 -

Good Luck, I've got to wait a few more weeks until I could get mine but im currently paying £12.50 for 225 x-net minutes, 250 text, STC and I didnt get a new phone on a 12mth contract
I'll be happy with the same minutes and 200 text plus STC and VP and a N95 black if I'm paying anywhere between my current price and £17.00 on another 12 mth contract. What are the chances?0 -
If you get a call from retentions offering what sounds like a good deal, once you get the phone make sure you check the amount of texts and minutes you have actually been given matches what you agreed to.
When I got a call from them recently the amount of inclusive mins and texts I was given was totally different to what I had agreed. Eventually got it sorted though after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing and ended up with a free N95 8GB, 100 mins 500 texts and free internet, for £25 a month.0 -
I rang last week to request my pac code.
got a call yesterday guy said "is there some crazy deal we can do to keep you as a customer?"
after 40mins came out with :
free sony w910i
250 mins + 100 texts
18 months
£10 per month for full 18 months
few better phones on offer, but mrs wanted w910i (so i'll have her w960i)
I was happy with this deal, but took a while to agree!
DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT AND HOLD OUT FOR IT, BUT DON'T BE UNREALISTIC!0
