I appreciate your concern regarding your upgrade and apologies for any confusion. I can confirm your priceplan has already been changed so the upgrade was successful. The Desire is currently out of stock and as soon as we have the stock in we will dispatch your handset.
We are expecting stock to arrive on 25/05/10(next Tuesday) which means you may not receive the phone until the 26th. You will receive a confirmation email when we dispatch the phone and you should expect the delivery the next day.
If you have anymore questions please let me know.

I was disputing the length and the price of the contract which isnt mentioned which is the norm i feel on here
I'll have to forward it to the ceo email and see if he does anything with this
One other thing we received the PAC code after this was agreed, can we still use this if we dont wait for the phone as this is too much hassle for a phone

Hi Guys,this is for the Web Relations Team or anyone else who can advise.I also upgraded through the Retentions team today to a discounted tariff.The guy was very good and made it clear that the email I would receive would show the normal tariff but I was definitely on the new discounted one and not to worry.I've just checked my online account and my old plan has been replaced by the new,non discounted plan.Will this change or should I get in touch with CS.

I am a newbie on posting on MSE but I have been lurking for long time. I have been reading through this thread before upgrading so I thought I would share my experience with vodafone.
I rang up to upgrade wanting the Desire and 300 minutes, unlimited texts and web. They offered me it for £30. I said I was only willing to pay £25. They said they could not do this and so I requested my PAC code. The PAC code did not arrive in the 48 hours they stated so I rang back and asked for it again.
The next day I got a call from retentions and they offered me the package that I was asking for as a pre-order for £20 on a 24 month contract.
Nothing too exciting I know but it is only from reading this thread that I asked for my PAC code and got this deal.0 -
retentions rang today.Same contract as last year. 12 months contract.250 mins and 100 texts and the Nokia 5230.£15 pcm after discount.I know nothing about the phone. poor review moaning about camera and poor battery life.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

Does anyone know if Vodafone offer new phone only deals to existing customers whos contracts arent due for a while?

Hi all, I've been trying to get a deal with Vodafone, but they aren't offering me anything other than deals for new customers.. seems like my 4 years with them doesn't mean anything... why aren't I surprised?
