i wouldn't mind £20/month but would prefer more mins though.
do vodafone still do rollover mins, as i've got an old contract still?
The guy i spoke to said that they don't anymore, but would continue if i renewed my contract - which is a bonus!

I am six month into my contract which is 750 mins + 150 texts + stop the clock for £35 (18 month) and called them to change to a plan which includes more texts (unlimited, specifically). The guy put me on hold for 3 minutes and told me that he's unable to do unlimited texts on my plan but will up my current 150 texts to 500 texts a month effective tomorrow.

I am quite happy with this really.

The phone is the original N95.
  • Looks like I'm the first person to have been offered a worse deal by the outbound retentions team than the one originally offered when I called to request my PAC code :rotfl: Oh well I'm quite happy to move back to PAYG.

Now I've requested my PAC code what happens if I don't use it? Do I then have to write in to close the contract even though the actual contract is due to expire in a few days?

They rang me yesterday, I rang back today, just said I wanted extra minutes and and more texts.
They offered me 300 mins and a 1000 texts for £30 or 150 mins and 500 texts for £25.
I've got 50 extra minutes, 250 extra texts plus the phone for for the same as I'm paying now.

I think i am one of the unlucky ones too.My contract is finishing the end of May due to Vodafone stopping the price plan i am on (anytime 225) and i rang up to say i wasn't happy with the alternative they were offering me.I asked to be put through to cancellations to see if they would offer me anything else. They offered me a few things but to be honest the phones they offered don't seem to be the best and i can get better online myself.I declined and said i would be sending a letter giving 30 days notice.
Rang again today to get my PAC code and to see if they would try to offer me anything else but the bloke said the code would be in the post asap and that was it.Been with them about 5 years and they dont seem as if they want to keep me so its cheerio vodafone.
Would have been happy with the N95 with 100 mins and 50 texts some people have been offered but thats life.:(
