I went for the 12 month deal - 100 mins, 50 texts and free Nokia N95 8GB for £20 p.m in the end.

I am going to sell the phone ASAP, hopefully for £240 so my years phone useage is free.

Got some other stuff thrown in, a months free sat nav and internet.

I was offered the 150 mins and 500 texts on my existing £15pm deal-I just need to select a phone-The Samsung soul or Sony Ericcson W890I have both been offered or the samsung F490 or F700 all on the same deal. If I want the Nokia N95 I would have to pay 20pm.

I would like the Nokia N95 and internet (intenet used to be free on Voda anyway) for £15pm but maybe thats asking too much?

Anyone else got a good Vodafone deal to shout about?

I just asked for an N95 8gb phone and got these deals offered:

250 mins, 100 texts and stop the clock. 12 month deal for £25 per month.
250 mins, 100 texts and stop the clock. 18 month deal for £20 per month.
100 mins, 50 texts. 12 month deal for £20 per month.

I said I wanted the first deal, but for £20 a month. He said no, then I asked for time to think, call me back - he wouldn't so I hung up.

    What can I realistically expect?

dave80s, was this on an initial phone call, or was this a ring back from them?

i'll be looking to upgrade end of the month for a n95 8gb for two lines i have and £20/month sounds good

i know many get half price line rental, free phone, free bluetooth etc. anyone managed to get a good deal with the mobile internet thrown into the bundle, without having to pay the £7.50 for unlimited use thing?
  • I remember last year I phoned up and straight away requested a PAC code, they offered me a free N73 12 months for £25pm, which I accepted. This year really wanted an N82 (which Vodafone do not do for some reason) so looks like a N95 8gb it is. I admit i'll be pretty chuffed if I can get one for free on a 12 month contract, can't hurt to try eh!

I managed to get the Samsung F490 with 250 minutes and 100 texts for £25 a month with the phone free on a 12 month contract.

Also asked for a free bluetooth headset which was a Nokia one and an in car charger also ask for FREE DELIVERY as otherwise they charge you £5.00.

When I received the phone the charger did not fit the phone so the lady checked and they dont have any accessories for the F490 yet so she checked on a website and offered a credit of £25 on my account (as on the mobile fun website the cost was £15 plus delivery) I accepted the credit . I asked her about the wrong charger and she told me to keep it so I will try and sell on ebay.

Looked on line and managed to pick an in car charger up for £2.70 with free delivery so Im happy. :rotfl:

I've got an existing 15pm contract, and have been offered a v1615 smartphone, and with unlimited intenet added taking it to £20pm... so its not free, but can be negotiated on.

I've just had a call, they have offered me

    N95
    125 minutes
    250 texts
    £20 a month

Still have 3 weeks to negotiate.

Is that the N95 8Gb or the older version? If it's the former that sounds a good deal.

i wouldn't mind £20/month but would prefer more mins though.
do vodafone still do rollover mins, as i've got an old contract still?

also what happens if you ask to cancell, get PAC code and not get a call back or miss their call(s)? as it's only the outgoing team which give best deals i read from above?
