    Hi all,

Firstly I would like to apologise that we have been unable to post on the forums as regularly as we would like. We have been extremely busy working through emails, however we will be getting round to replying to every ones posts ASAP.

Madcelts – Hi Madcelts, could you let us know whether you sent an email to us in the end? We will gladly look into this for you and for your convenience, can hold discussions via email if you are unable to take a call at that point in time, or arrange for a call back that is at the best time for you. I look forward to your reply.

Gill179 – As I have said previously, we will gladly look into the most suitable package for you. If you have not already done so, could you please contact us by clicking the link below and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Vernumamy – I’m incredibly sorry that we were unable to get back to you in time to help you out. However I am pleased to hear that Jonathon was able to provide you with a good deal.

Chilly9876 – We really have been very busy in the last few weeks, which has unfortunately resulted in us being able to access the site much less than we would like to. We are however, doing everything that we can to reply to all of your posts in a timely manner. It’s disappointing that we could not offer you a deal that suited you originally and it would be a real shame to lose your custom. We would really like to look into the deal for you again, so if you could let us know the reference number from your original email we will get it looked into for you and be in touch. I’m certain that we can help you.

p1tse – We will happily look into your Sim-only options for you. If you would like to contact us on the link below we will get this addressed as soon as possible.

Sugarbabe84 – Could you also let us know the reference number from your emails so we can look up your emails and ensure that they have not re-routed to another team. Thanks.

Lara – I’m disappointed to hear that you were unhappy with the original offer. If you’d like to contact us on the link below, we will be more than happy to take a further look into this and find something more suitable for you.

Kazwookie – we will be happy to look into this for you and offer some assistance. Could you please email us on the link below?

Does seem Voda aren't as good as they were.

I can get 200/300 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited web from Orange/3 @ £15pm but Voda's closest deal is with 600mins and costs £20pm

Requested a PAC code 2 weeks ago, heard nothing. Requested it again today, the retentions (I guess?) bloke had the cheek to tell me if I decided to come back to Voda I wouldn't be able to get the great offers for existing customers only, after he had quoted me a tariff directly off the website available to anyone.

Not sure he was impressed when I pointed that out :D

I've sent you the e-mail quoting my reference code, i've still not had a reply to my 2nd email (original was replied to,but not had anything since i responded to your reply). Can you please make sure that you got my reply???

Look forward to hearing from yourselves, admittedly though i'm not keeping my hopes up on getting the deal im looking for :o

I've just spoke to a guy from web retentions as I thought I could get some kind of deal when my contract runs out sometime next month but I was appalled by what he tried to offer me.

I'm currently on £35 a month with 250 texts, 700 mins and I said I wanted my price plan reduced and if possible a new phone, he said the best he could do to get a free phone and to keep me on the same package was to sign up for another 24 month contract. Fortunately I was not stupid enough to accept his ridiculous "offer".

I find it insulting that he wanted me to pay the same price for a contract that is worse than what they are currently offering new customers on their website:
£35 - 900mins, unlimited text, 500mb internet, free landline calls + free phone

Do Vodafone not care about my custom or do they just take me for an idiot???

To be honest I doubt they (or any other carrier) does anymore. There's no loyalty either way in mobiles these days.

Can someone advise me? If I decide to get my PAC code and then decide for whatever reason not to change providers, do I have to use it? In other words, if they issue my PAC code but no 'deal' is done in the meantime and I just decide to stay on and get a rolling 30-day sim, will that be possible or will I find that I am cut-off at the time the PAC code becomes due?

No it's safe. If you don't use the PAC in 30 days, it expires and you continue as a customer.

Sad day today ,... I got my PAC to move on from Vodafone. They just don't have anything to offer me that is appealing enough for me to want to keep paying £25p/m and commit to 18 (or 24) months.

Off to 3 PAYG for a while.
  • has anyone in the list above responded back to the web relations team? if so, have they responded back? I have now recieved my phone and don't know whether to return it yet, i emailed them and not yet had a reponse. I'll only return/keep it when I'm clear about whether or not they will match o2's offer of a iphone cover. I know its only a mobile phone cover but its the principle of it, I have been a loyal customer and a little bit of goodwill would be nice

Just took out a 12 month contract and didnt know I had to transfer my number at the point of connection, well month gone and I called up yesterday found this rubbish out, so the other sim only voda contract, so now waiting on my PAC, the guy called up and asked why I wanted to not stay, told him and he couldn't say a word. 11 months time, thats the last I give voda a try, really bad service.
    Kind Regards
    Bill
