I would also check that they haven't added the insurance to all these renewals. They often include it as it is free for the first month hoping that you won't notice it.

I’m getting increasingly frustrated with Vodafone.

I’ve been trying for ages via email to get the following

    2 nokia 5800’s

    200 mins

    Unlimited texts

    Interne

For £15.00 per month per phone – this is our current monthly cost so we want a new phone each and extra mins and texts.

But it feels like I’m hitting a brick wall and compared to many on here I don’t think I’m asking for much!!

Is it best to just keep calling in the hope you get someone who can make it happen? I feel like I’m getting somewhere via email but it’s a different person who responds each time and when at last I’m offered the phone I want the next person tells me that they can only match the new customer offers on the website!!

Does anybody have an email address of somebody they have dealt with that they think could help me?

    Many thanks

I phoned vodafone today and accepted the following.

    Free Samsung Lucido
    250 minutes
    100 texts
    Unlimited internet and emails
£17.50 per month for 18 months.

Total price of £315 for whole of contract.

What does everyone think of that deal? The phone costs around £220 sim free so I thought it's quite good? I was wanting a Samsung Classico but Vodafone dont stock it for some reason.

I'm after a HTC Magic: I've been offered 250mins+internet for £29/month, 18m contract. Seems steep but dunno how to haggle down. I don't use that many minutes anyway - do want that particular phone though...

Just phone retentions and negotiated my 2 contracts with them, and got:

    Contract 1.

    Blackberry 8900 - 600 minutes - 3000 texts - unlimited internet and email - 18 month contract - £24 per month.

    Contract 2.

HTC Magic - 200 stop the clock minutes - 500 texts - unlimited internet and email - 18 month contract - £25 per month.

Well chuffed with that. I think my bargaining power of negotiating 2 contracts at once helped. I was pushing for more minutes on the second deal - but it wasn't happening.

mrmajika was your current deal almost up?

I can 'upgrade' officially with them from 9th May, when can you start the ball rolling with regards to leaving them?
Please support my thanks button if I have been of any help

I was 35 days of away from the full 18 months. I don't think they start taking you seriously until this point.

Im interested in this handset also. Is your contract up or are you within your upgrade period?

Well played: I suck at negotiating.
