how much were you paying? to get that?
how the hell did you get that????
can you call them for me plz?!?!?!?0 -
My brother in law just got the following:
Free Blackberry Curve 8900
600 mins
Unlimited Texts
Blackberry Internet Service/ Unlimited data (fair usage policy)
£35 per month with 9 months 1/2 price line rental0 -
but are they not losing money when they give you that
i just called them now and they said they cant even offer me a c905 for 20pm0 -
No they rang me, if you ring them they can't offer you anything decent.0
-
so they gave you the offer only if you open a new contract not a upgrade??
so i just call and ask for my pac code and then w8 for a call from them?
btw are they not losing money???0 -
No thats not the case, it's just that this worked out to be a better way of doing things instead of an upgrade, I also ported my number to Vodafone aswell and that helped a little.
But all in all I'm happy, I can still upgrade my exising number if I want - but I have got 4 contracts with Vodafone now, so I'll cancel one. I also have 2 contracts with O2 and 2 with 3. So I need to cut down a little on outgoing spending.
Hopefully want to get rid off the 3 contracts and have only Vodafone & O2, I tried to push for a deal on mobile broadband and he said he could send the dongle for free with my Xperia but £10 per month for internet on an 18 month contract, but it was too much as I only wanted 1GB data and max £5 per month.
They may loose money a little but that depends on how much I spend, I also have 600mins, 1000txts and unlimited bolt on with O2 so I don't think I'll use it much apart from the internet.
Now who was saying I didn't have a chance in hell of getting this deal? Come on show your face. ;-)0 -
so if i wanted to get that deal how would i get it? or something similar with a sonyericsson phone?? the best they have offered me was a c902 at 15pm but i said no it was 24 month contract0
-
It just depends on luck, I got the deal cos the guy I was talking was pretty cool about it and on the same page as me.
Best thing is to wait for them to call, be honest with what you want, and do have a deal you can show them - I showed them a HTC Touch HD deal at £30 per month.
First get the deal, i.e. the phone and the monthly line rental, at the END of the call ask for extras, at the end I asked him does it come with a memory card and he said I'll check and managed to pull out a 16GB micro SD card - which is REALLY good.
I just told him straight that I don't care about mins or txts, I just wanted unlimited internet, first he offered 100min and 50txts, which was not enough so I asked and since I was actually going to use this phone those are a little low, so he said 250mins and 100txts.
Probably the coolest guy I have spoken to at Vodafone so far, I'm happy and so is he as he's made a sale.
BTW £15 a month for a C902 is a pathetic deal to be honest, just wait for Vodafone to call you - make SURE you answer it!0 -

Let them do the work.
Wait until retentions call you.
Get your Pac code.
Show them you are serious about leaving.
I got a SE C905 at the price I wanted to pay. Good luck.0
