Check my post earlier for sim only and getting a phone. It can be done but you have to pay a little towards it.The measure of love is love without measure0

Sony Xperia X1 - Free Of Charge
150 Mins / 500 Texts / Passport / Unlimited Mobile Internet
18 Month Contract @ £24 Per Month
That is the kind of deal that I would be interested in.
Any tips on how you went about getting this deal? PM me if you want.
FWIW, I have been offered a Blackberry Storm with:
250min
100txtx
unlimited mobile i/net
But this is £25pcm on a 24m contract!

Could someone please suggest a decent Nokia phone that Vodafone currently supplies with upgrade offers; (currently on £20 p month average spent £25pm.
What is important is excellent battery life, light weight, + camera + other nice to have features.0 -

I'm looking for the HTC Touch HD with unlimited Internet now. I've made my mind up, and I'm not willing to pay more than £20 per month. Plus I want more than the 500mb limit they have on their 'unlimited' internet - 1GB at least like t-mobile and 3.
The HTC touch HD is £29.37 anyway with 400mins + Unlimited txts + free home broadband aswell - 18mths from Orange (not direct and no cashback involved).
if they can't be willing to knock £10 off per month compared to Orange then I won't be staying. I do hope however that they can beat the Orange offer and give me exactly what I want!!!!! ;-)0 -
Just come off the phone to retentions been offered 500 mins 100 txts for £9.79 a month on a 12 month sim only deal. Had been paying £13.00 a month for the same deal so quite happy with this. Was also offered the 600 mins unlimited texts deal for £12.24 but didn't really need the extra. Hope this info is useful to someone!0

Need to phone Vodafone as came to the end of my 18m contract in August.
I'd like a new phone (N73 onthe blink) but to reduce my tariff. Are they likely to offer me any decent phones (want Nokia only) if I'm reducing my monthly charge?

Decided to bite the bullet and request my PAC code from Vodafone.
Will be moving to the t-mobile Solo 20 plan, at least i am not tied in for any considerable length of time.
Will update if I get a 'call back' from Voda, although I am not expecting them to meet my requirements (gotto be ambitious: X1, 600min, unlimited txts, unlimited e-mail for £20pcm) :rolleyes:One day I want to be the pigeon...... and not the statue!0 -
Here's what I've just got,
Experia X1 - Free
75 mins, 250 texts, passport, unlimited internet and email, 18 months, £24.46 a month inc vat. could of had a months free insurance too but thats just a pain to cancel i think and i'm covered anyway on another policy!
I was pushing for the same deal someone else on here got for the 150 and 500 but they said it wasn't possible (that was the promo/retentions team I spoke to) I guess i'll ring up again within the 14 days cooling off and push for some more texts but other than that I'm happy with it!0 -

Thats a good deal looking for something similar but no more than £20 per month as I just want the unlimited internet and email and not bothered about mins.
Oh and a great idea with ringing and cancelling within 14 days - how would I do that exactly? What happens if I ring up and want to cancel and they say 'yes it's been cancelled'!!!!!!!!!!!
It would be nice if you could sort of point me in the right direction as to what i should say.
BTW are the outbound retentions department open? I used to get a call every couple of days from them and now not had a call from them! Seems strange, got a missed call from them on the 23rd of Dec.0
