just called vodafone. they offered me a se c905 free on 18 months contract with 100 voice and 50 texts.

    whats peoples thoughts?

For how much? I got a free C905 for 18 months at £35 pm for 600 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited data, with an option to reduce my plan after 9 months.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

    That's a great deal - did they really offer you a S.E X1 for free on a £20 a month contract ?

    BTW - I'm assuming this is a 24 month contract, right ?

    M.

I think so, I'm an idiot for not digging in more and taking the deal straight away!

Neither the bold or storm would work on that tariff, and you'd need to pay £15 extra for the privaledge.

Why? You require "BlackBerry Internet Solution" for a BlackBerry to work like one, just the internet won't allow transfer or E-mail.

Side note: The Omnia and X1 both use the "Windows Mobile" platform so unless you actually need a PDA (and not just a phone) theres really zero point in having one, and the experiance isn't very good unless you have this intention either.

Just wondering if anybody out there has any insight as to whether new connections and retentions will have more/less/same money to play with in January or December. Thanks.

Not really going to use them really, just wanted the one with the best resale value on ebay.

I presume by 'it won't allow email' you mean IMAP and POP3 ports are blocked by vodafone?

in reality the only thing i am after is internet access on my mobile.

BlackBerry internet and e-mail is ported via BIS and RIM's actual servers. Due to this the E-mail won't work at all, I've heard reports that the internet will but I've also heard reports that it won't due to the above reason.

Currently on Anytime75 for £20 pm so anything would be an improvement but I want to make sure I am being offered a good deal.

New phone - Nokia 6300, 250 mins, 50 txts, passport BUT lose exisisting Stop the Clock.
Plus - new line, Nokia 6300, 250 mins, 50 txts.

Each contact - £10 pm. Sounds a good deal except for losing Stop the Clock which they say I would now have to pay £5 pm for.

Any thoughts anyone? Thanks for looking.
