My original post said it was outside my friends house actually !

You are getting great help in winning your case. You must follow it precisely and don't get the huff !

Believe me, if you don't display attention to detail as these guys are trying to help you, then they will simply write off your case and give their time to people who are prepared to follow their advice and direction.

So, go back and re-ead the last couple of pages and get your appeal in shape - it's your money at risk, not the regular helpers here.

it wasn't a residence parking space it was a road side on a housing estate ... no lines or space markings just a normal kerb outside her house

Further, I understand you do not own the car park and you have given me no information about your policy with the landowner or on site businesses, to cancel such a charge. So please supply that policy as required under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Seems contradictory to me and any 3rd party reading without background info.

I am doing exactly what I am being advised to do ... I appreciate everyone's time. But I don't need to be made to feel stupid in the mean time.

I do have those photos you advised me to take but the forum wont let me post them up . I have been through an edited the post but I can edit on the replies I have received.

I'm not getting the huff some people are being rude to me and this is my first experience where as you guys are very knowledgeable in the subject .. so I am just trying to keep up.

From what I can see I am now being advised to completely ignore now and not respond.

I maybe misunderstanding " residence parking"... it wasn't a space it was a kerb I parked against there were no markings no lines.

We have established the second letter template that you have quoted there is incorrect and I am not to send it. I think that you are insistent to make me feel stupid and trip me up.

That paragraph you have quoted there is me copying and pasting a letter and asking someone if I should send it its from the NEWBIES post and I got it wrong its not the one to send

Keep trying to edit your incriminating posts. You normally can do multiple edits. What message are you getting when you click on "edit"?

PM the people that have quoted anything incriminating and ask them to edit them!

As previously posted you need to go through all your posts properly - you have still left numerous references to who was driving!

No you cannot edit anyone else's posts!

See my suggestion on what to do over this problem in #58.

Just send something that says the resident has primacy of contract and there is nothing about £100 parking charges in their Tenancy Agreement so as keeper of a car that was a legitimate visitor of a resident with existing rights, you rely on the Jopson v Homeguard appeal case in support of the position.

Doesn't really matter what you say - you need to get your head around this because there will be a court claim to defend, you know. This thread shows what happens next and a decent defence to crib from:

We will assist you all the way but you need to realise no template will stop this. You will be defending a small claim and it is winnable (we've never lost a Gladstones one).
