  • I fancied MCD when I came out of work today but came home instead and had chicken kiev and chips.

Puppy went to gym with DS today so she is now fast asleep in her crate. Left her to go down shop for milk and she was quiet when I left and asleep when I got back - 4 pints milk still £1 a the co-op ... & box of 4 magnums half price £1.84 :o ... couldn't resist

Tesco clubcard vouchers arrived today £1.50 will come in handy, only use Tesco for petrol on way to work so will use them next time I fill up.

Sad news today, I found a poor hedgehog in the road this morning at 6am :( don't know what had happened to it as it didn't look like a car had hit it. Put it in a box and phoned the council who were supposed to come and collect it from the roadside (they wont collect from private property) but it is still there. I put a big sign on it so no-one would pinch the box thinking they had got away with something

I am glad work is over for the week.
I let myself go at lunchtime and had McD after work today.. was delish:rotfl: at least I used the :money:advice and only got big mac and fries for £1.99 :D Had another magnum too :o
Managed to get one load of washing done and dried outside. We didn't get the rain that was forecast this afternoon.

Puppy has been a bit naughty today chewing everything today. Gave her ice cubes and cold carrots and an old tshirt of DS's which she loves and runs around the room with it in her mouth and trailing behind her ! Took her for a carry round the block she was very excited. Cant wait to be able to walk her.

I will try and have a NSD tomorrow

Sorry about the hedgehog, it was v good of you to wrap him up. Well done on big mac at a good price! Puppy sounds adorable.

    Have a good day.

  • Thanks SW.
Had a good sleep 10.30-5.30, put puppy out & then put her back to bed till 7am so I managed a bit more sleep. She's been asleep again since 10am so I have showered, dressed and cleaned the bathroom.
The council must have been out and collected the hedgehog as the box has gone.
The sun is just starting to come out. I've got a load of washing just finishing to hang out. Today I need to put some weedkiller down on the path and cut the lawn. DF got weedkiller from local allotments and it is safe for animals once dried so will be doing that later when DS gets up so he can keep puppy busy inside (he did the 2am puppy shift so is having a lie in)

Last night I was very naughty and had Chinese :o It was lovely though and paid for out of my entertainment budget so won't beat myself up about it. Plus there are enough leftovers for lunch today :D

I seem to overspend my entertainment budget all the time. Ive been invited to a carboot tomorrow but need to see if I can raid some savings so I'm going to look.

  • Take some out of your smoosh bottle SW after all that's what its for ?? You can spend some time with friends at a car boot for very little money.

I managed to cut the grass this afternoon. I gave it a first cut then raked it off then cut it again as it had got so long it was like a meadow !! Also sprayed the path where the weeds come up between the paving. Two loads of washing done and line dried including towels, I will need to do two more tomorrow. Also had an afternoon nap lol.

I am off to bed in a minute. DS is just going on night shift which means I have to do the 2am and 5am puppy shift ! We had home made fajita's for tea with the remaining cheese from the fridge and natural yoghurt which is cheaper and less fat/calories than sour cream but tastes almost the same on a wrap by the time you get the cheese, chicken etc on it.

I'm keeping the smoosh money (£16!!!!!) for emergencies this month. That's much more important I think.

Well done on eating such good food. I was soooo naughty this weekend. You have been inspiring and I am going to do some gardening later.
