Can't rent out spare room as it is very small and used by DP's and friends staying over.
I decided to take some money out of my holiday fund yesterday as I am puppy sitting this year whilst DS is in USA (booked pre-puppy) and I am not going to visit family in the summer. As its a bank "holiday" weekend and the weather was glorious we had a BBQ with DS his gf and friends. Got some burgers and sausages on offer in co-op cans of coke on offer, cheap ice cream, salad & coleslaw and used the £1 off voucher I got the other day when I got the yellow sticker items. It was a lovely chilled afternoon/evening. DS went out to watch the boxing at a friends and came in early this morning.
Puppy has been a bit subdued yesterday but it may be the heat or feeling under the weather from her final vaccinations / kennel cough vaccine so will be keeping a close eye on her today. She seems fine this morning. We tried her with some peanut butter after research online we bought the safe one with no added salt and sugar as dogs are supposed to love it, but she turned her nose up at it ! She's scoffing everything else though :rotfl:
I have worked out my budget and I have £26 to last till payday on Thursday. I will need to put £10 in the car as the petrol light came on when I was on the way home on Friday, but apart from that I am hoping for a NSD today. The weather is lovely so far and the washing machine is on again !0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Went to B& M today after deciding to get a spare cool mat for puppy and the label said £8.99 but they only charged £4.99. Plus I bought her a new toy marked up at £1.99 which cost 99p
Unfortunately I had to put them on the credit card but the bill will be nowhere near as high as this months.
Managed to find some pork chops in the freezer so we had hot & spicy chops for tea with jacket potato and corn on the cob plus a small salad using up leftovers from BBQ. I am going to have to go shopping tomorrow but don't get paid till the last working day of the month so roll on Thursday ! Had to put £10 petrol in the car today used the last of my cash in my account.
I am looking forward to a night out on Saturday just round a friends house with the girls but will be a fun night and cheap !!bottle of peach lambrini will do nicely0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Payday !! woo hoo I have money in my account
Not for long once all direct debits go out tomorrow but looks good for one day lol.
Yesterday I fixed my dishwasher saving loads-a-dosh instead of calling out a repair man.it has been cutting out occasionally and 2 warning lights flashing. I found the instructions which said a blockage in the filter. The filter was full of scale which had fallen off the element so I cleared that out, but there was still the same problem. I found where the water drains and shoved a nail emery board inside the hole and there was something stuck. Managed to clear that and now its working again :j
Today I took the puppy to the local boating lake still carrying her/sitting her on my knee. She is getting so stir crazy indoors cant wait to be able to walk her. She had a lovely time getting lots of fuss from people and was so good with children wanting to stroke her. She watched the swans and kids in the nearby park and a couple of bouncy castles and a bouncy swing/trampoline combo and she loved it. She came home and fell asleep !
A few spots of rain earlier but that's cleared up and the sun has been out this afternoon. One load of washing done and line dried. Didn't take any money to the boating lake so wasn't tempted by ice-cream or go to the coffee shopLovely sunny last day of August

What a fabulous day ! Puppy slept through the night and was clean and dry this morning at 5am
Then we took her for her first walk :j We only went a short distance but she loved it. Took her again this afternoon and she loves seeing what's going on but gets tired quickly and just lays down :rotfl:She got lots of fuss from passers-by and met a little Yorkshire terrier half her size and she was scared ! Bless her, once they were introduced they had a sniff nose-to-nose and she was ok
Had a naughty kebab tonight with DS before he went to work on night shift. We got free onion rings & total cost £16.70 so not too bad. Will use my entertainment fund as I've been told Saturday night out is now cancelled due to host being illHopefully we'll do it another night later in the month.
