Forgot to mention that the bank phoned yesterday about my complaint and they have refunded the £10 charge. I’ve checked online banking and the money is now back on my credit  card. 🤗

Feeling a bit anxious/ agitated about going back to work so I think I will contact them today about a possible return on Tuesday with some reasonable adjustments. Things never happened quickly at work so this will give them 2 days (today/Monday) to agree / arrange. No idea who my manager is now as mine has left while I’ve been off. Hopefully they will take my MH into account otherwise I will contact my union rep & may even go back to Dr & ask for another sick note / fit note. I feel like I could return to some of the work with a gradual return to the other type of work. I am due some days off next week anyway due to the extended BH for the queens Jubilee.

Just going to take the dog for a walk. Hopefully some fresh air and exercise will settle me down a bit. No other plans for today

    That's great about the refund.

Do ask about adjustments and maybe have a chat with your union anyway, reaffirm what you already know.

Have been out in the sun for a walk with the dog ☀️. She’s now laid out on her cool mat which I bought last week in b&m extra large £16.99.

I am planning on cutting the grass today & doing some washing. I need to sort my work clothes too. I will be working from home next week and then a mixture of 2 days at home and 3 days a week in the office after that.

I managed one load of washing today and cut the grass. Otherwise just pottered around and rested.
DS & his gf have been out to diy stores buying tester pots and making plans. It actually quite sweet how excited they are.
Had a reduced to clear tikka massala with rice for dinner was £3.50 reduced to £1.86.

Lovely sunny morning but much cooler. Had a walk with the dog. Have just hard boiled some eggs for snacks in the week. I am going to aldee tomorrow for shopping & will start my June budget.

Not much planned for today. I am hoping to meet up with a friend this afternoon.

I went to the card shop today and got a card for an upcoming birthday 99p. Was very near lidll so I got some groceries while there. £25.00.

It is my 2dogs friend’s birthday tomorrow. I am treating her to breakfast after we meet up & walk the dogs.

Felt a bit down this afternoon. Just got thinking about my friend from the next road who has moved away and I hardly see her despite trying to arrange things. My 2dogs friend is moving further away in 2 months time, then I will be moving out of the area too. I am looking forward to moving but will make an effort to keep in touch with those others moving and those staying in the area. Trying to think positive about new beginning rather than an end of an era

Walked the dog this morning and went with my friend for breakfast. Full English was yum 😋 still stuffed now.

Have dropped her card off this afternoon and had a cuppa. Then popped round my other friend and took her card as it’s her birthday the day after.

I had an email back from one of the surveyor companies. Have told them to go ahead and send me the contract so I can get it signed and email back to them & make payment. Full level 2 survey without valuation £600 including vat. They can arrange direct with sellers estate agent & currently booking for week commencing 20th June. I am conscious of the bank holiday weekend coming up so I would like to get it sorted asap

Good price for the survey, must feel strange being a cash buyer and being able to pick what you want / don't want, while knowing when you get the keys you don't have to pay anything more for the house ☺️

Breakfast sounds great, plan a small snack in case you do get hungry later.
