  • Thanks MF and Lw2go. Puppy dog seems fine after being asleep for most of the day.

Work was a slog but not as bad as Thu and Friday. All food from stores today.

Checked online banking and credit card is now cleared. The next 2 months are council tax free so 2 x £162 = £324 will be put into a separate holiday pot for petrol up north to see DF and the rest of the family this year.

  • Have been awake for ages. My sleep is all over the place at the moment. I am trying to stay in bed a bit longer as the dog seems to want a lie in just lately too

I am trying to get caught up with some health issues this year that have been put off due to covid

    1. Diabetic eye screening booked for this week. I have been hoping the local venue would reopen but not happening so I will have to get a taxi. Cannot drive due to eye drops they put in.

    2. Breast screening appointment during work time long distance away now cancelled and new appointment made for mobile unit at local supermarket car park out of work time

    3. Need to phone GP and make an appointment for diabetic check. Should be able to do this on a shopping day to save petrol as they use the same car park as aldee

    4. Need to book an eye test, spec savers keep sending me reminders. Eye test is free. I usually ask for my prescription and buy cheap online specs 🤓

Good luck with them all. It's been a funny time trying to deal with health over the last couple of years, everything feels like it's been shelved.

  • It’s still dark here but I can hear fog horns in the distance and it’s freezing 🥶 Dog ran out and was back in very quickly this morning 😆 she’s just had her breakfast and is snoozing. Will walk her later before attending my eye appointment.

As I will not be able to go shopping today I ordered groceries online total spend £23.38.

My house moving friend text last night to say the massage therapist is coming this saturday due to a mix up with the dates. I am so looking forward to it. Should cost around £20 for half hour. May have gone up a bit since last had one pre covid almost 2 years ago!

Freezing this morning 🥶 v hard frost and the grass was white, hard & crunchy. The dog still enjoyed rolling on it  😆
Had my thermals on & welly socks, thermal lined coat & hat/scarf/gloves as well as normal clothes so didn’t feel cold apart from my face

However the sun is out and the sky is blue. No wind so washing will dry on radiators. Have been for my eye screening total £14 taxi there & back. I had my eyes closed most of the way back as I forgot my sunglasses 😎😆

Starting work at home at 12. The drops should have worn off a bit more by then.

I have ordered 2 jumpers and another pair of thermals from mat Alan with free home delivery £42.50. I used my xmas gift card from DS & his gf £30 so just paid £12.50 😁
