If people don't like it, they'll have to look at why people don't want to contribute to all the drinks. Stand your ground and ask your friend to do so too.
Hope your day went well.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Thanks MF we have both decided no drinks as the wine list shows the cheapest bottle is £18.45!! We are hoping to get water then move on to another local bar for a drink after the meal. She has invited me round tomorrow afternoon for a chat & a baileys so I’m looking forward to that. 😊

Not sure if this will help you with tyres. Since I’ve been ill, it’s been really difficult to do mine. Boyfriend will do it for me, but as he lives 30 miles away, it’s not always convenient. So I asked ATS and they’ve been fine with me. I explained how my back was to them as well. I always call first rather than pitch up in case they’re busy and I did offer to pay, but they would have none of it. I suppose they think if they discovered a slow puncture or something I’d find it difficult to refuse for them to deal with it, but worth it for the help it’s been.

How much 😲
Enjoy the Bailey's, it's a fantastic winter drink.
Great tip MW, take them biscuits next month, if you can spare it.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Thanks MW that’s a great idea. I will try & pluck up the courage!
MF & SW you are so right about paying for drinks. If they are buying in rounds I always opt out and say I will buy my own as I’m not drinking as much.
I woke up during a doze on the sofa having a coughing fit last night, not sure why, it felt like something had irritated the back of my throat. It stopped after a warm drink but is now very sore. I have had a drink and paracetamol at 3.30am and I am awake again and just having a cup of tea, hoping to doze off again.Plans for the weekendClean ovenRead metersDescale kettlePhone car ins - report low mileageClean shower screen & bath panelWood stain bath panel0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Grey sky but mild here today. No wind outside so no point in hanging any washing out. Heating is off as it’s not cold.
I’m feeling blergh, not a “sore throat” but sore larynx plus remaining half thyroid is swollen & sore from coughing yesterday. Have just had another couple of paracetamol & will have a shower and hair wash this morning and hopefully the steam from the shower will help.Didn’t get back to sleep so I’ve been up for ages and had breakfast. I’ve descaled the kettle and submitted meter readings. Slow cooker is on with more veg soup. Hopefully a baileys later will help me feel better 😋🍹0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
