Meals look good and tasks should be manageable, which I'm pleased to see as you always worry me when putting a list of big ones together.
It's good of you to take your mate shopping. A simple gesture but is a massive help.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Lovely warm day today, walked the dog, bacon roll for brekkie & worked till 3pm. Had a quick shower, hair wash & out with friend at 4pm. Had a nice walk round the shops & chat.Stocked up on birthday cards 5 for £1.69. Paid using £2 coin I have had in my purse for months.Spent £3 in boots, items on offer saving £2
Spent £8.55 in b and m including face cream and a pie in a tin. I remember eating the tinned pies years ago but it was not as nice as I remembered. Had it for tea with mushy peas bought in li dl & mint sauce. Wouldnt buy it again.
Spent £5.17 in li dl including bin bags, large fairy, mushy peas, handwash, tissues and crisps.Total spends £16.72 from current account remaining £58.74Dropped friend at home with her bags of shopping. She only lives round the corner from me.DS & gf had taken the dog out to the forest when I got back so I could eat my dinner in peace without the dog staring and slobbering 😁

What an early start. Useful shopping. Enjoy chilling. You deserve the rest at weekends.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

That's a really productive shop you've done. I hope your friend was a little perkier after the trip.
I know what you mean about pie in a tin, things really have moved on and not in a good way. I didn't think the faggots were like 20+ years ago. Let's not even talk about the puddings in a tin.
Hope you've a nice blue sky too today!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Thanks SW and MF. It was another not the house selling friend.Had a lovely long dog walk Saturday morning followed by 2 hours sleep then a bout of ibs that has been on and off all weekend. I’ve ended up sleeping a lot and resting. Both mornings were grey, damp and muggy. Saturday brightened up about 4pm. Sunday brightened up about 1pm so I washed my 2 dog walking coats in the machine plus hand washed my waterproof trousers and walking shoes then laid them out on the lawn in the sun and sprayed them with nikkon waterproofing spray I bought in the sale pre-covid. Then hung on the line to dry.Didn’t take long, or much effort but I needed a little lie down, then I washed the filters from my hoover and put them on the patio table to dry. I would have liked to have cut the grass but did not have the energy. The forecast is for rain all week.At least I did manage to spray the tilt & turn mechanism in my bedroom window and it is now properly shut so that should hopefully keep out any rain and howling gales we may have. Spent the rest of the day laying down in front of the tv & sleeping on & off. Will try and catch up properly with all your threads tomorrow.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks MF and SW. It always seems to be when I’m stressed but just lately it seems to be on the weekends after a stressful week 😕
Felt better today. What a weather day! Gales this morning & squally rain. Blue sky & sunshine in the afternoon.I haven’t been out but DS’s gf has kept me updated on the local petrol situation. Long queues and closures here. I have enough to get to the dr & back tomorrow afternoon for my flu jab. Shouldn’t need to go out again until payday.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

It's stress and salt that triggers mine.
Bodies are strange. They hold up for while under stress / pressure but the minute you stop wham, it triggers something.
Good luck with your jab.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Managed a nice dog walk this morning before the rain.Washed the furry throws on Sunday & line dried ready for use this autumn/ winter. It’s definitely cooler outside but still warm inside, no need for a jumper or throw yet. I don’t plan on putting the heating on until at least the end of October.I am thinking of moving my desk into the spare bedroom once DF has been to stay. At the moment it’s in the living room in the bay window & it gets awfully cold in the winter. In a smaller room with the door shut I’m hoping the computer will warm the room & there is not such a big expanse of glass in that room as there is no bay window at the back of the house.Wednesday is forecast as the only bright sunny dry day this week so I will try to get my washing done then & dried on the line.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
