  • Moving the desk sounds like a good winter plan, have to be warm when sitting all day.

Hopefully there will be a few hours of nice weather spaced out over the next few weeks, not limited to one day.

  • Moving the computer to a warmer room sounds like a good idea. Stress plays a part, is there any chance you might be allergic to any food? I am hoping for a good day on Wednesday too.

  • Can’t sleep again tonight. Fell asleep on the sofa after dinner and now wide awake.

Managed to miss the rain this morning for dog walk. Used up the last bit of bacon and an egg on a roll for breakfast.

Worked till 3pm then drove around the queue of cars at petrol station and went to gp for flu jab. Blimey it hurt! Arm v sore now & feeling grotty. Popped into aldee opposite the doctors picked up a few things that I can only get there (their decaf tea bags, 2 bottles of peach squash, own brand crackers I like) then headed home, calling into the vets on the way to collect dog flea & worming treatment paid for by DS as part of her care package. Still have 3 bars on petrol gauge.

Dozed on the sofa until daily chat with DF. Oven chips and Chinese chicken curry from freezer for dinner. Comfort food 😋 DS walked the dog. I dozed on and off on the sofa. I don’t normally feel ill after the flu jab.

I am on a late shift on Friday so I will go to lidll on Friday morning and use the £5 voucher.

  • Well done on food shop. Glad you have petrol. People are really struggling and on low at work.

Thanks SW. Last time I bought petrol was beginning of September and luckily I have hardly used the car with me still working from home.

was a lovely sunny day yesterday although definitely a chill in the air. I needed a coat on for the morning dog walk.

I hung out a load of washing which dried on the line while I was working. After work I went for a lovely walk on the common with DS’s girlfriend and the dog. Rain is forecast for the rest of the week so definitely make the most of the day.

Managed to resist the urge for a takeaway last night and had oven fish and chips. Not the same as from the chippy but would have been just over £8 spent.

  • Temperatures have dropped, hopefully there will be a warmer spell soon.
Your walk sounds lovely and well done for resisting a takeaway.

Chilly night last night, was thankfully I had washed furry throws & didn’t need the heating on.

Wet dog walk this morning in the pouring rain. I was mostly nice & dry in newly waterproofed trousers and coat & wellies. Just wet hands, but not cold. Must find my waterproof gloves. Dried the dog with old towels.

Just waiting for school traffic to calm down and I’m off to lidll. Start work later today.

I've got your blue sky, but it's cold.

Hope your day goes well and it's another week ticked off!

  • It was dry by the time I went shopping. Down to 2 bars on petrol gauge. Petrol stations open but all pumps closed. Sun is out now.

Shopping was ok in lidll but I still prefer aldee. Got mince & stuff to make a chilli and beef & root veg to make a stew. Has anyone made a chilli in slow cooker ? Not sure if I need to brown the mince in frying pan first / pour off fat.

Total spend was £29.28 but after £5 off voucher it was £24.48. 🤗
I am having chicken Thai green curry with broccoli and cauli from a batch cooked & frozen last week for dinner and half a pack of micro rice
