  • Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear you've got one of those kind of friends.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • Some friends I know I can rely on 100% even if I don’t physically see them every week and others I can spend time with and have a nice day out etc but know they might not “be there” in the same way iyswim.

It’s raining here quite heavily this morning. Dog went out, realised it is raining and quickly did what she needed to and dashed back inside followed by a good shake to cover me in rainwater 😆

I ordered 2 new bras, 2 x 5 pack knickers, 1 x 5 pair socks, 1 x short sleeved pj top and free home delivery £42 from mat Alan. They should arrive by Friday and will be paid from the household bills fund which includes clothes.

I paid £5 into the retirement collection for a lovely lady on our team. Paid online via Pay pal I will transfer money from my xmas/ birthday savings pot.

Next months credit card bill is now phone charger £1.95, retirement contribution £5, clothes £42 and dentist £65.20. All will be paid off in full from various savings pots.

  • Your bills look good and it's a nice use of the surplus.
    Hope the rain eased off.

  • Walked the dog in the rain and no one else was around. We went on the field with her ball & halfway across the field was a new £20 note 😁🥳 So I had it. No one else there, would never be able to find who dropped it.

It brightened up this afternoon. ☀️

  • Nice find! Treat yourself with it.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • Cloudy morning, looks like it might brighten up later, nice dog walk but didn’t find any money today 😆

I treated myself to a curry last night £10.15 delivered and put £10 into my savings for diy jobs when DF comes to stay next month. Total in diy pot currently £40 (including gas & elec compensation). Half the curry left for today, it was Goan beef which I haven’t tried before and was yum 😋

DS & his gf get paid today so their share of the bills money should be in my account over the next 2 days. Then I can work out what is left to move to savings.

  • Hope the weather perked up, if not I'll apologise for hogging the sun this afternoon!

Goan curry is nice, 'spoons used to do one during their curry night.

Not long until DF visits, get planning the trips and nice meals out.

Can’t get to sleep 😕 but it’s my own fault as I fell asleep on the sofa around 9pm & woke just before midnight. In bed now.

Have been thinking about diy & jobs needed around the house. I have decided to use the £300 no longer needed for work chair (they are supplying) plus the £30 gas & electric refund. So £330.

    Replace shower screen £69.98
replace toilet flush & bathroom light pull switch
    replace kitchen cooker hood £54.99
    replace kitchen lights
Boiler service - need to book
Garden lawn edging strip & purple slate for border

Have priced up most items at tool station or screw fix or b n q. Purple slate will be from b & m. Not sure how much a service is these days so will check when I call my usual boiler man.
