Skinty is it worth seeing if you can find another job now that will have a better work environment? I am so glad you can work from home that does help escape the horrid atmosphere some places can have. 3 years to go hurrah.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

I don’t think I will change now SW. There is nothing with similar pay on offer at the moment but who knows what will happen in the next 4 years.I phoned my energy supplier today and they are arranging to pay the £30 compensation into my bank account. Will take up to 2 weeks but I am not in a rush to spend it.We also had some good news that work will provide the same specialist equipment for working in the office one day a week as we have already at home. If they buy the chair I need I can put my payrise £300 into other savings 🤗 instead of buying my own chair. On the news this evening there was a report about the new petrol E10. If your car is not able to use it you have to buy E5 instead which is more expensive. I checked on gov.uk & thankfully my car is compatible with E10.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

You'll be retired in 4 years and enjoying your daytime!
Great news about the chair, the resulting savings and refund.

Just about to get up and walk the dog. Today is my late shift so I start at lunch time.Plan to go to b n q later to get a new folding wash basket as ours has snapped and cannot be repaired. It says online there is one in stock £3 so hopefully it will not be a wasted journey. I will also get another small tube of super glue to stick down painted wallpaper which has curled up at the edges in some places in the hall, stairs and landing £2.I will get some chicken out of the freezer to defrost & make a quick dinner later. Chicken & peppers in black bean sauce & half a pack of micro rice.I’m trying to have a takeaway free month. Fancied a takeaway last night but instead I had a portion of the batch cooked chilli with half a pack of microwave Mexican rice & some sweet chilli sauce & garlic sauce drizzled over & cheese sprinkled on top 😋0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

What's the daily amount of money needed in retirement?
What's the average cost of your takeaway?
How many takeaways do you avoid for one less day at work 😉
That's your motivator to reach 4 years.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

I don't want to do away with takeaways completely. I have budgeted for entertainment fund which can partly be spent on one or two if I fancy them, but I would rather spend the money on going out with friends.
My mobile phone has stopped charging again so I'm posting on my laptop. The phone will charge if I use DS's gf's apple charger but I can't keep borrowing that. I have ordered a usb cable from ebay £1.94 with free delivery & will see if that works. If not I will phone ee and try and get a new phone on contract. I currently pay just over £8 for sim only data, unlimited phone calls & texts. The cheapest iphone on contract is £29 but I will see if I can negotiate as that comes with more data than I need.
Have taken the dog out this morning and bumped into a friend with her dogs so we walked and chatted. Hoping to go out for a drink later. Have hung out a load of washing to dry and had egg on toast for breakfast. I have some mince to use up so I may make a shepherds pie later. Should be enough for at least 2 meals.
