It's done now and you got out for fresh air and a change of scenery.
It's nice seeing foxes around, but not hearing their cries in the middle of the night.
    Hope you get some rest.

Managed to get back to sleep for a couple of hours this morning woke just before 9am. Went to morrisons with the intention of just buying bread rolls for bbq tomorrow £2.36, but also ended up stocking up on hairspray 85p each x 4 and hair mousse £1, value food & freezer bags 100 for £1, Black bean sauce (can’t get it in aldi) 70p, box magnum ice creams on offer £2.50, cotton buds 50p, metal scourers £1.85, tin pineapple (none in aldi last week) £1, 4 pint skim milk £1.09, 1 bottle wine for bbq friend’s birthday tomorr £5.75, cans pepsi max on offer 24 for £6.50 and a whole hot chicken on offer from deli counter £3.99 (cheaper than buying fresh & cooking it myself!). Got some good bargains but it totalled £31.64 !!

    grocery budget 31.64 / £120.

Have sprayed the weeds & sat out in the sun for a while but it’s too hot for me 🥵 Am relaxing indoors until later when it is cooler.

Friends bottle of wine present is a lovely bottle not sure what it tastes like 😆 but I didn’t buy a bottle bag for it as they were £2.50 each! I have some wrapping paper bought in sales & some ribbon at home instead.

I like Morrisons. They have a really good range of organic and wonky veg too.
    The wine looks good.
Well done for mowing the lawn :)

That's a summer wine bottle if ever I saw one!
You've picked up toiletries and other non-food items, take those off your price and your shop was fine.
Well done for getting the gardening done. Maybe when it's cooled down you can take an iced drink out and appreciate your garden.

Last lie in this morning. The dog is back tonight. 😁

I wish every Monday was a bank holiday! Off to the bbq later. Today will be a NSD. I will slap on the factor 30 ☀️ and take an umbrella in case I need some shade. Last thing I want is sunburn. Have a lovely day everyone 😊

Ive often thought about having Monday as a non-working day, but then Tuesday would become the new Monday 🙈

Enjoy your BBQ, looks like a good day for it!

Had a great day at the bbq. Was glad I had slapped on the factor 50 and took my umbrella it was so hot but I didn’t burn like some.

I have decided not to shop this week to avoid half term and tiredness. I ordered co op online delivery lots of basics, fruit & veg & salad but no chocolate! £25.06.

I need to do some batch cooking 2 x mince beef & veg pasta bake and 2 x spag Bol. Also have chicken fillets & 1 x gammon steak in the freezer.
