I spent the morning relaxing and reading my book. This afternoon I did my bathroom cleaning jobs & got most of the mildew off the bathroom roller blind so I don’t need to buy a replacement. Then I walked the dog.Did one load of mixed washing today and I can now see the bottom of the wash basket & have done all bedding, towels, cushion covers & throws.Still lots of spring cleaning to do so I will continue to do a bit each day but may rest up over the weekend.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

It’s a bit cooler today with a brisk cutting wind but still bright & sunny. Final load of washing whites/ light colours done today & line dried.Had a drive out for essential medication for the dog. Trip to the vets for a tick collar I ordered on Thursday. This warm weather has brought the bugs out 😕. Ticks are particularly nasty & burrow into their skin & are hard to get off. Also got some gravy bones biscuits & poop bags in the pet shop. (The vets is inside the shop) I dropped my shopping bag & the wind from the shop doors blew it across the floor. The woman behind me who had been stood on “x” marks 2m apart then stepped forward and picked it up & passed it to me. This simple act of kindness quite horrified me as I automatically took it from her & said thank you. She was closer than 2m and had touched my stuff 😱When I got home I washed my hands, wiped down my purse & all purchases with anti bac wipes. Poured the biscuits into a tin. Binned the bags. Washed my hands again. Backtracked and wiped surfaces, door handles, car door handle, steering wheel. Binned the wipes then washed my hands again. Does anyone think this was over the top? Have been anxious all afternoon that she got closer than 2m.DS’s gf walked the dog this morning so I will be going soon for some fresh air & exercise. I started the “dog room” spring clean by hoovering the carpet & washing the skirtings. Still need to hoover the dog room sofa & armchairs but I will do that tomorrow.

It's highly unlikely anything will have been transferred for that brief moment and with your following activities.

Hello my lovely, thank goodness it is the weekend. How are you after the fall. How is home working. I agree with MF try not to stress. You are doing exactly the right things, well done in giving yourself tasks for everyday.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

Had a chill out day yesterday. Walked the dog in the evening.Today I am doing part 2 of the dog room spring clean, hoovering the dog sofa & arm chairs. Blooming dog hair gets everywhere 🐶. DS’s gf has done the morning dog walk and I am doing the later walk. DS is at work.Part of my work equipment is due to arrive later today. I will get DS to bring my desk down from the loft when he gets home from work. The rest of the equipment is to follow some time over the next 2 weeks. I am on leave for 2 weeks so won’t be doing any work but I will get set up ready for when my leave ends.I have some cubed beef in the slow cooker with onions & oxo which smells amazing. 🤤 I am going to have some for dinner with roast potatoes, carrots & broccoli & part of the gravy. That will use the last of my veg. I will make a curry with some of the beef by adding curry powder to the gravy and a spaghetti sauce with some of the beef & my last tin of tomatoes. I have a small portion of dried spaghetti remaining from pre-corona. I’ve eaten all my fruit apart from half a tin of peaches which I opened last night. Dare I go shopping tomorrow?0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Can you send son out tomorrow for food? Please don't take any risks Skinty, we aren't on the Shelter list but we are on the vulnerable list and we are to avoid shopping ideally. Remember people were out partying the week before almost lockdown (one last hurrah before the pubs closed) so they wont know they have it already. Keep walking your lovely dog but avoid shopping if you can. Your food sounds great. I am working really long hours at least 12 a day online barely time to cook and eat here. I can't wait for the students to calm down so there is some structure again. lol. I hope all the essential workers are ok.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Lovely sunny morning but chilly wind. Walked the dog early so not many people around.Spring cleaning in the living room today. Washed the bay window inside & all skirting & hoovered. Was lucky to have money left over this month. Have donated some to age uk to help delivery of food parcels & befriending calls for isolated older people. Will save the rest to visit DF once all this is over. My niece lives near him & has been shopping for him & leaving it on the doorstep. He has good neighbours who have been checking he’s ok & chatting over the garden wall at a safe distance. He also has his allotment so is keeping active.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Well done you for the charitable payment. I am so pleased your dad is ok and enjoying his allotment. Enjoy your spring cleaning. It is gorgeous and sunny here but a bit chilly.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

I've just seen your signature Skinty - this is rather delayed but CONGRATULATIONS on being debt free!!! What an incredible achievement!
It's been beautiful weather down here too, but very very chilly.... We've started going out slightly earlier in the evening as it's too cold later on. It seems that the initial rush of people desperate to get outside at 5pm at the start of the restrictions has reduced round our way anyway. So we see a few more people than we would at 7pmish, but still few enough to be able to keep our distance!
In terms of food shopping, have you got any shops/farms/food chain suppliers near you that have started offering food boxes for delivery? I've had quite a few pop up on facebook near me - some are ridiculously overpriced (but I guess people are still buying them?) but some are more reasonable. If this situation continues long enough for my freezer to get emptier, and I still can't get supermarket deliveries, then I am considering doing a meat shop on Muscle Food (they also have lots of nuts, nut butters, liquid egg whites/yolks and other things I'm heavily reliant on for diabetes-friendly snacks) and supplementing with a local veg box delivery that also includes a loaf of bread and milk in each delivery. For now, we're doing a click and collect Tesco shop tomorrow (when I was supposed to be going to the hospital over the road anyway for a midwife appointment) and I'm intrigued to find out how much of what I've ordered is actually given to me!

Thanks Pink. January seems a lifetime away now. I was lucky DF gave me some money for Xmas so I paid off my credit card with some of it & my car was always due to be paid off in January 2020 so it was all paid off in one go.We have thought about another muscle food order but the deals are usually for large amounts and we don’t have space in the small freezer. The mornings are lovely & sunny at the moment. Walked the dog yesterday and saw 3 foxes basking in the sun on the field. Took her to the park this morning as my foot was sore & she ran around after her ball. The desk came down from the loft yesterday & I fixed the legs on and set it up in the living room. Spent the afternoon watching tv. I had a couple of films I had recorded. A Quiet Place with Emily Blunt had me on the edge of my seat! 😵 V scary made me jump a few times!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
