Im sorry that the massage lady couldn't make it but am v envious of the icecream. I am just waiting for some chicken to be roasted. It is horrible outside here too. Well done on tidying.

  • Forgot to mention I also got my car insurance renewal quote in the post today from my existing insurer. Its due on 19 December. It has gone up £8 which I thought was pretty good. I will spend tomorrow getting more quotes to see if I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

  • Have been decluttering the kitchen and decided to go to asda and get another 4 drawer storage for dog stuff which was £13 online. It was on roll back and only £10 in store :D I also got a lovely butterfly duvet set £12 for my second duvet. I have 2 thin ones so I can throw one off if I get too hot. Total spend £22 from annual bills/household fund.

Heating has been off all day, it was lovely and sunny this morning and 1 load of washing hung out is now on airers. The massage lady came at 3.30pm this afternoon and I feel all relaxed now and the heating has just come on. Lamb shank from list for dinner. DS & gf & dog back in morning.

  • That sounds like such a lovely Sunday, SkintyetAgain.
  • It was a lovely relaxing day on Sunday. Back to normality today :rotfl:

Worked this morning. Came home. Walked dog. All food from stores. Rained all day.

I have been trying to work out Xmas costs including petrol up north & should all be covered from Xmas savings account. Payday on Friday and have arranged with a friend to go out Friday afternoon & Saturday to do Xmas shopping plus lunch on Saturday. Roll on the weekend !

Thanks Kittikins, I'm trying not to leave everything till the last minute and not overspend !!

Payday yesterday :j will post my budget later. I managed to resist a bacon roll & chocolate bar at work & took porridge, banana & yoghurt saving £3.20. Went to aldi for week 1 shopping, came to just over £27. I also got 2x 24 Pepsi max £4.99 each on offer at lidl which should last me a month including Xmas.

Total £36.98 / £150. I have increased the food budget this month to cover some nice treats. I will be up north for Xmas but home for new year.

Set off walking to a friends house to go out for the afternoon but she messaged to say she wasn't ready so I went to the local chip shop and sat by the pond in the lovely warm sun eating my chips :D Just as I finished my chips my friend rang to say she was ready and she picked me up in the car.

I got lots of stocking filler chocs in the range 2 for £1. Also a his & hers tartan reindeer Xmas tree dec. We then went to b&m for more goodies. Today we are going to the local shopping high street and hopefully I will finish off the stocking shopping for DS & his gf. The rest of their gift will be money.

Had a good day yesterday. I walked the dog then went shopping with a friend. We went to wetherspoons for breakfast I had a bacon butty & tea £3.35. Got some good Xmas stocking bargains including super drug Lynx ice chill-Anthony Joshua shower gel 99p for DS & imperial leather love hearts shower gel for DS's gf 98p. Remember love hearts sweets :D
I also got a tub of celebrations in tesco £3.50.

DS & gf took puppy dog to the forest in the afternoon then they both went to work in the evening. Me & the dog were flaked out on the sofa :p

I have been offered a new phone as another friend has upgraded. She wants £25 which is cheap so I am going to treat myself.
