Woke up early this morning, wish my body realised its the weekend ! I have a cup of tea and am back in bed. Hopefully I will get a bit more sleep soon.
I had spicy chicken wings for dinner last night, so no takeawayWings were bought in aldee and I had buffalo wing sauce & sweet chilli sauce in store cupboard.
We have booked our work team xmas lunch for December. Its £10.49 for 2 courses at a local pub so I will need to get £10 out of xmas / birthdays account. I have 30p in my purse and found 20p on the floor whilst out dog walking yesterday :T
I am taking the day of the meal in December off work as DS & gf will be away that week and puppy dog will be at home. I cant work to lunch time then go to the meal as she will be alone too long. So I will have a lie in, take her for a walk and then drive to pub for lunch. Also it means I will probably drink diet coke so only £5 will need to be budgeted for drinks from December entertainment budget.
Jobs for the weekend
walk dog
clean bathroom
scrub patio
hoover dog room
mop kitchen floor
clean out dog paddling pool & put away in shed for winter
clean cooker fan
The forecast is not great but hopefully I will get my work clothes washed today. I am aiming for a No Spend Weekend !0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I hope you are chilling too.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
No spend day lasted till 9am :rotfl:
Dropped DS & his gf at train station. Went to McD on way home for breakfast £4.29. One load washing out on line then nice dog walk for an hour on the common in the sun. Still loads of apples on the trees, shared one with the dog. Came home and scrubbed patio & dog pool with zoflora, then had a snooze
Another load of washing, towels hung out and although it clouded over this afternoon they are almost dry. Will finish off on airers. Cleaned cooker fan then just took dog for another walk to the park where she had a run around after her ball
That's it, done now for today. Feet up watching TV.

Feel tired this morning. Fed puppy dog at 6am then went back to bed with a cup of tea and snoozed for another couple of hours. Managed to spend £50 before 10am today
I have ordered a new long winter coat £38 & 2 new everyday tops £12. I will see if I like them & if they fit or send them back. Free delivery to store. Will be paid from annual bills / clothes account.
I cleaned the bathroom then had beans on toast. Half a tin of beans leftover from when I made chilli. The dishwasher is just running a cleaner through it and a load of washing is just finishing. It was raining at 6am but bright and sunny now.
I have decided to walk the dog a bit later today. I need to hoover the dog room & kitchen tiled floor & mop. Then all jobs are done from my list. Stew tonight from freezer.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

:rotfl: I just managed to skim read this as "scrubbed the patio and dog with zoflora" and wondered how you'd managed to keep her still long enough to scrub her clean before realising what zoflora is :rotfl:
How did you like the coat and tops? I can't believe we're already having to get winter-ready, how did that sneak up so fast?? :eek:MFW2023 challenge #99: £1090.11 / £1,000 MFiT-T6 (Jan 2022 - Jan 2025) challenge #99: Reduce mortgage to £400,000. Unfortunately Pink, the coat will have to go back. It is lovely but just too tight with a jumper on, and the lining got stuck in the zip. I had to struggle to get the coat off over my head :rotfl: Thankfully the zip then came undone without tearing the lining. It was size medium (12-14) so the next size up is large (16-18) so I am undecided whether to order and try the bigger size.
Have woken with a headache this morning hope I'm not coming down with a cold or sinus infection now I am on holiday off work for a weekHave just fed the dog and am back in bed with a cup of tea then I hope to get more sleep once the painkiller I have taken starts working.
This week has been cold and wet. I have walked the dog in my winter waterproof coat, wellies and waterproof glovesso I have been dry and toasty ! Mostly it has been work, a bit of food shopping and cleaning ready for DF coming to stay. All on budget so far.
Am really looking forward to seeing DF. He does get bored sitting around though so we will try and get out and about weather permitting ! I've also made a list of little DIY jobs
We are out to lunch Thursday and may go to the cinema one day if this rain continues. Tuesday is supposed to be dry so we will hopefully get the shed roof done (he insists it needs to be done before winter) in the morning and then we will go for a nice walk along the coast in the afternoon. I have also bought some draught excluder for 2 smaller bedroom windows which need replacing. We will fit the stick on draught excluder seal for this year until I can afford to replace them. Cost £6.49 from household bills savings account.

Morning Skinty, there are so many bugs going round at work I hope the headache will pass and doesn't develop into anything. Stay warm and toasty for the rest of the weekend and try to spoil yourself a bit.
As for the clothes sizes there must be a mistake with their sizing! Some of the sizes are ridiculous I have found. I wish we could back to the old system when you visited a shop and knew their sizes would fit - now clothes are made all over the world and are so different.
I am so glad that you are having some time off and are going to have your father coming down. You two have fun together you do house things but have a great time too which is wonderful to look forward to for you and for us as we know you are happy.:j:T:):A
Chillaxe and get well my lovely.:AAiming for a minimal spend 20220
