  • Wish I was retiring too bln. I'm only 51 but feel like 81 ! Another grey but dry windy day. 1 load washing dried on line. If it stays dry tomorrow will hopefully get last load of towels dry.

Walked the dog in winter coat with fleece hood up & furry lined coat hood up, wellies, scarf & waterproof thermal gloves, was warm & toasty apart from my thighs. Wonder if I can get thermal trousers ??

    Payday tomorrow :T

    NSD today :T

Have had an early tea of aldee pizza & garlic bread. Will need to go shopping tomorrow

  • When I took puppy dog to the park earlier this week she played for ages with another dog which had a big orange squeaky ball. I was chatting with the owner of the other dog who said the ball was from asda £1. After work today I went to asda and bought dettol anti-bac spray (good for getting rid of doggy smells!) on offer 50p off and got the same squeaky ball £1 :D

Have just got back from the park where puppy dog loved chasing the new orange squeaky ball & then another young dog came over and they played together for ages :D had a lovely chat with the other dogs owner.

Puppy dog is now cuddled up snoring on the sofa. :rotfl:

Hurrah for new toy at such a good price. I don't know how you can walk so much. It is certainly keeping you fit. Have a lovely weekend.

  • Couldn't sleep due to wind and rain battering the bedroom window. Fed the dog at 6am then decided to go to GP drop in and get my flu jab at 8am. The winds are 70mph and my little car was shaking in the wind  thankfully not many other cars around and I was first one in Drs. The rain stopped as I arrived and started again just as I left :D

Got a McD breakfast at drive-thru on way home. Will pay for out of entertainment budget.

Will need to walk dog soon. She's asleep in her chair at the moment, hoping the rain will ease soon !

Hello it is very stormy here. I am not going out at all. I don't know where to suggest you go as it is vvv windy outside it is a bit too dangerous I think for walking.

I hope it calms down a bit. I think you should eat happy food and watch telly and rest after flu jab.:j

  • The rain eased about 10am so we walked round the corner to the park and puppy dog had a run around after her ball. I didn't do much walking, just there and back again :D

I wore all my waterproof gear thankfully as it started raining on the way back and has been on and off all day. When it eased up this afternoon I popped round to a friends house in the next road and she has been plying me with baileys all afternoon :rotfl:

DS & gf have walked dog & just shared some chicken & bacon lattice they bought for tea. Free food & free booze :p need a snooze now lol
