Sorry have just re-read my post I should have said Dr told me in July from hospital day surgery discharge notes that it was not cancer but some sort of polyps that may need to be removed so I'm sure it's not serious. But thanks for the good wishes KK x

The woman seemed ok she had 2 dogs with her and I apologised profusely ! I was mortified and she left soon after.

Oh bless you, puppy sounds really excitable and I think they all go a bit bonkers sometimes. Good luck with the hospital. Again I think you are handling it well. I am glad the dr did put your mind at rest.

    Roll on payday.

  • I am VERY tempted right now to place an order with everything £5 using the code in the :money:moneysaving email. There is a pair of slip on trainers (last pair and they are my size !! ) and a shorts & tshirt nightwear set and using the code would cost just over £9 with free delivery. Can I get just as cheap from asda / primarni I wonder and then I can try on and return for free if they don't fit......

am trying to talk myself out of it :rotfl:

  • I am off to bed. I haven't bought anything as I don't NEED them. I will use the £9.50 towards the boiler timer instead.

  • Payday tomorrow. I remembered to take a sandwich and pack of crisps to work today. I have bought the short pj set at £4.75 with free delivery as I don't think I will get the set cheaper elsewhere and I do need some new short pjs. I was hoping my old ones would last now I've sewed most of the holes :o but I finally decided I am sleeping in rags. I paid through paypal on my not 0% credit card so I will pay them off once I get the bill.

Pyjamas are an essential so don't worry. Roll on payday. That's all I keep saying.

I cant wait till the weekend. We can all just take some time out for ourselves. I am going to sort out the garden and maybe do some sewing and definitely try to walk too.

  • So that's the budget for September worked out. I will pay for the boiler timer out of the household bills account. My emergency fund is currently zero so I want to try and put £100 a month away to try and build up to £1000. The payrise was miniscule after tax & Ni & pension £26.52 for 3 months ! :(

I should have £14.70 left over which will go towards my xmas meal.

Payday yesterday:beer: I had £2.79 left in my account :p

It looks like being a nice day today the sun is out already. I have fed puppy and will walk her later. I am going to wash DS bedding today and if that dries quickly I will do my work clothes too.

Puppy has scratched a hole in the carpet in the puppy room. The carpet is old and has been there since we moved in 20 years ago, it is rather old fashioned and heavily patterned but was ok for the dog. However I don't want her to eat the bits she scratches off. I tried spraying the hole with a anti-chew spray we bought when we first got her but it doesn't work. I found a rug in the loft that we brought with us from our previous flat and put that down to cover the hole and stop her eating it ! The rug is a not as fluffy as the carpet so hopefully it will wear better. There is no point in replacing the carpet until she is older and stops destroying stuff !

The boiler parcel I returned for a refund has reached the sorting office in Scotland according to the tracking. I should get a refund within 2 days of arrival with seller so hopefully next week.

I have received a credit from ICE of £10 to my credit card from the :money: offer which has paid for the Toby meal last month :T

My neighbour has started the work on the wall under my bay window at the front of the house this week with the paint I got on offer and it looks so much better already. He said he will do another coat on Sunday bless him !

  • Well done on using the rug to cover up puppy's chewing. What a great neighbour, I have them too what a difference it makes. Thank goodness for payday now we can chill for a bit. I was down to my last £10 which I had to borrow from my xmas fund. lol.

I hope you have a good day. The weather should be gorgeous.
