  • Poor puppy, vet believes she has mild hip dysplasia but has referred for second opinion and should get some advice on what this means for her tomorrow or Monday :( She is snoozing off the effects of the anaesthetic in her bed, bless her she was sooo hungry when she got home ! Paid by credit card, £654  hoping to get most of it back from the insurance company apart from the £99 excess. Will print the form off tomorrow and fill it in over the weekend so I can take it to the vets next week, as they have to fill part in and send it off.

Swag bucks is doing my head in !!!!!!! How infuriating to get halfway through and it loses connection or tells you that you are not suitable. I've spent hours all afternoon faffing with it and only earned 124 SB. Need to earn over 700 in 30 days to get £15 voucher. Wish I had never started :( I seem to be giving away a lot of personal information, hope I'm not gonna get spammed or anything worse !! I figured loads of people do them on here and it was in the :money:email so must be ok.

It did rain here around 4pm but my washing was dry and brought in before it started. DS is on nights tonight and so he will take pasta bake with him that I made earlier. I haven't been able to eat since bringing puppy home but just starting to feel like I've crashed and burned so must eat something now. I have a pizza in the freezer so I am going to pop that into oven.
Back to work tomorrow but at least it's Friday :)

  • Work was really stressful today :( so lets look on the bright side....

    Its Friday :j

I have been naughty and bought a bacon roll at work £2.15 :p paid for out of food budget.

I got the £5 meal deal from co-op, enough for 4 meals..... Youngs 2 large fish, youngs fish dippers (supposed to be for kids but I will eat them for lunch another day) chips, peas & box of magnum ice-creams :D and a 6 pack of pepsi max on offer £2.50 ... its the weekend !

One puppy walk done in the sun but she is not allowed to run after her ball :( She has wanted to play all afternoon but we are not allowed. Poor puppy. Have given her a cardboard roll to play with and a carrot instead :) will take her for another walk shortly.

I have done some more surveys and am over 300 SB now ! It has seemed easier today.

Am gonna put my feet up and relax tonight

  • I fell asleep as soon as I sat in front of the tv last night :rotfl:
Its very dark this morning and cold out at 5.30am when I let the dog out. Very autumnal / wintry, but haven't had my heating on yet. Am hoping the weather will stay warm till November. ;)

I did a few more surveys yesterday and managed to get up to 490 SB so am well on the way to 720 needed for £15 amazon voucher. I am not sure if I will use it for xmas presents or to get something nice for puppy :)

I haven't made any plans for the weekend other than the usual washing, ironing and cleaning and 2 puppy walks a day. It takes me all weekend to get ready for work on Monday !

I hope puppy is getting better. Well done on the surveys, I realised I was already a member of swagbucks but I don't think I have ever used it. lol. I am tidying today and doing housework. Then food shopping and visiting friends.

  • Its been lovely and sunny here this afternoon with a nice breeze. I managed one load of work clothes washed and dried and 2 puppy walks in between cleaning & washing up.

I have ordered a pizza tonight :o using a special offer medium pizza £5 from pizza hut delivery.

My entertainment budget for the month is now spent ! I will have to be careful for the rest of the month. No spending :p

Back to work in the morning I have bread rolls in the freezer and ham in the fridge plus bananas so will take food in with me so I don't get tempted to spend in the canteen. DS is staying at his gf again hardly see him these days. I have done a few more surveys today I am up to 556 SB, the end is in sight !

Really well done on the surveying, housework and dog walking. The Pizza was on offer so I think it's ok. Im like you, not much left in the entertainment budget. Apart from Steve's mum in laws birthday party I am not doing anything.

Well done on the sandwiches and I hope work goes quickly tomorrow.

  • I completed my surveys yesterday (thank goodness that's over ! ) and received my bonus points today thanks to :money:
I should have a £15 amazon gift certificate code within 5 business days :j

I received a recorded delivery letter with £5 of vouchers from walls after complaining about their pasty. Not sure I want to buy another pasty but hopefully I can buy some other product of theirs instead.:)

I popped into co-op on the way home from work and got yellow stickered large steak pie reduced from £4 to £2 and cottage pie from £3 to £1.50. Have just had the steak pie with some of the chips I got in the £5 deal and some veg for tea with DS and his gf.

  • I took the pet insurance claim to the vet today and had to pay £6 for them to fill in their part and send it off ! Still at least its done now so I hope they pay out.

I was tempted to go for the £200 bank switch in this weeks moneysaving email but I don't have enough monthly income to qualify :(

I went to morresons and got some coffe mate for me at work as people nick your milk if you put it in the fridge ! Got a few other bits and bobs £11 spent. Yellow empty light came on so I will need to put £10 in the car on the way to work in the morning.

    Am glad its Friday tomorrow.
