What a lovely feeling when you realise it's the weekend
Thank you for the payrise "reminder" - I'm getting one in my new job, yay, so next month's pay will be lush

I don't think my payrise will be much KK but every little helps !
The parcel has arrived and the timer is missing !!I have requested a refund via ebay so we will see what happens next, I have to wait 8 days.
Puppy has been for a walk and I am just about to hang out towels and then put my bedding in the machine to hang out later. Its lovely and sunny here but a cool breeze. Puppy will have a longer walk this afternoon/evening. The pork is in the slow cooker and it smells lovely  just a few hours to wait until its done :rotfl:0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Its pouring with rain here today so I put on my waterproofs (waterproof windproof regatta coat from ebay was a bargain last year £16.00 new & free postage and has really lasted well & trousers were my mums) and walked the dog. We had the park to ourselves and she had a run around after her ball. Used recycled old towels to dry her off after.
I've done some batch cooking, turkey meatball pasta bake and DS has just taken some to work for lunch with some pulled pork from yesterday for his dinner. I've had a pizza from freezer for lunch and have taken 3 cooked pork sausages out of freezer to defrost for my dinner tonight with mash, veg and gravy, will be a nice comfort food meal
I have had no reply from the seller of the timer but they have sent me a returns label via ebay so I have printed that and resealed the parcel ready to go back to post office on Tuesday. Am so fed up as this means I still have no timer for the boiler for winter and will have to run up and down stairs to keep turning the heating on and off. What is it with these time-waster sellers ?This is the second one that has let me down.

Well done on doing so much I am having a lazy day. It is not too bright by me. It's a great idea to check on your food to save money I was going to go to the supermarket but I am short of money so I will buy fruit from the corner shop after copying your idea.
Have a good time with your friend.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I made some chocolate and coconut muffins yesterday and they are yummy.
All ingredients were from stores. I found some cocoa & dried coconut in the baking cupboard with bun cases & self raising flour in the fridge.
I made a sandwich today to take to work with a muffin and left them on the kitchen tableDS was on night shift so I text him and he put it in the fridge when he got home this morning, so I had it for lunch. Wish I'd remembered it though I was starving by 10am :rotfl:
I have made an offer on another timer for the boiler. This one is £70 so I don't know if they will accept my offer of £40 but its all I can afford. If they don't accept I will have to wait until October when DF comes to stay and he will have a look at the instructions and try and find something else that will fit.
I went to aldi today and got a bottle of juice, 4 pints milk, wraps, peanut butter & 1kg chicken breast total cost £8.85. only £7.79 left till payday should manage it0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Don't worry I spent money at work too. I bought a diet coke, and three cups of tea for people. I spent £3. I hope the people accept your offer on the boiler.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

I remembered to take a sandwich and muffin to work today :j After work I took the useless boiler timer to the post office to return for a refund £29.95
I got home around 1pm and took the puppy out for a walk. The tide was in so she went for a swim but then she was naughty and jumped up at a lady walking her dogs and soaked herSo she (the dog!) got a good telling off and will be back on the training lead again from now so she can't run off !
The offer I made on the other boiler timer for £40 was accepted :T lets just hope the darn thing is complete and works !! Total £42.95 including postage.
I had a call from the receptionist at the doctors and I have to go see the doc on the 3rd Sept for the results of my biopsies so they must have found something but I'm sure its not serious. I am not going to worry.
I got a look at my payslip today and have a payrise of £14 a month, better than nothing I suppose. Backdated amount is £42 which will go towards my xmas meal. I will try and put the future monthly increase towards my credit card debt.
DS has gone to his gf again and will be back tomorrow. I will have the remaining medallion steak for dinner with oven chips, salad & onion rings. We probably won't eat all the chicken breasts I bought so I am going to bag them up individually and freeze them.
I've just washed the dog towels and the sun has come out so I'm off to hang them out so they should dry on the line.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

What a great attitude you've got to the biopsy, sending healing thoughts your way.
Cheeky puppy! Hope the lady wasn't too annoyed with it all.....0
