  • Cue a group of scalli's vying to see who can book the most cars. i expect the app will give co-ordinates so they would have to do it in a car park.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Either that or have controlled gates, in and out, with key access.

They don't seem to have any troubles at the likes of Heathrow where they have anpr connected to the ticket issued on entry and anpr opening the exit when you get there after paying.

Why should a small residential development or commercial premises have to go to the inordinate expense you suggest to control the offensive behaviour of a small number of people who park where they should not.

They wouldn't if the PPCs didn't misbehave on said Residential Car Park when they are invited in to help, then ticket genuine visitors at 9am on a Sunday morning ("in order to prevent commuters") and refuse to engage in any kind of reasonable conversation about it.
  • So, if they pay up front for the photos, and they operate in Scotland, does anyone fancy joining me in a nice little moneymaking scheme using our friends cars?

They will pay commission when the scam is paid.

No guarantee that the picture taker will ever get paid or even know its been paid.

In general the advice to people is
    "Stay well clear of Scammers"

Let's hope the picture takers will be reporting their commission/earnings to HM Revenue & Customs.
  • do the picture takers get fees for appearing as witnesses when you ask for their (Warden?) attendance in CC

So you agree there is a need to control the obnoxious behaviour of those who park where they shouldn't. It is just a question of how it is done.

    So what is your suggestion?

You do what I am trying to achieve and get something implemented that is both reasonable and has the correct safeguards in it for authorised users ...

    And by:
Authorised users I mean people who are allowed to park there and not people who ensure a piece of paper remains stuck to their windscreen or stays on their dashboard ...
    Safeguards I don't mean the IPC/IAS ...

You do know that a lot of PPC's promise the ability of whomever engages them to be able to cancel any ticket blah, blah, blah and then either don't set that facility up or ignore the requests ...

Until PPCs act fairly and reasonably they are not the solution.
