Most people acknowledge that parking is an issue in a lot of places, and given the opportunity, most people will just shove a car anywhere they can, and it needs managing sometimes!!!
If they took each case on its merit and all allowed genuine appeals and acted morally towards people, then many people wouldn't have a problem with what they do..
The problem with these parasitic PPC's is the Goodfellas attitude they all adopt to maintain an income stream...
Oh forgot to put your permit on the dash today? "f**k you pay me"
drove in and out the car park and couldn't find a space? "f**k you pay me"
Parked then popped to the cashpoint before feeding the machine? "f**k you pay me!"
typed your reg in the machine wrong "f**k you pay me!"
and once they have your reg its up to you to fight it!!
If there was a real, fair, independent, genuine appeal process or governing body to oversee things, then things wouldn't be half as bad as they are!!
Having independent companies whose income stream comes from parked cars just screams for the system to be abused!
And it is!!!0 -

Interesting.
So your view is provided the company managing the parking operated in an 'honest' way, then threatening to charge a fee to people who don't comply is a reasonable way to operate.
Surely that shouldn't be hard to do.0 -
NO , you ask HOW TO STOP it , not levels of "invoices "
if you own land and dont want visitors PROTECT IT not use a company that allow people to park then pocket money from them , they have FAILED in there job , not succeeded!!0 -

So how do you protect it, without the innocent person ending up spending many thousands of pounds.
Are you disagreeing with misterbarlow that charging fees for unauthorised parking is a sensible and reasonable solution, providing an honest company is used?0 -
if you own land and want to protect it then you must pay the money required , not use a sub standard method that does not work
Are you disagreeing with misterbarlow that charging fees for unauthorised parking is a sensible and reasonable solution,
by whom?
laws of trespass are available to the land owner and are more in line with loses0 -

You are blaming the victim?
Do you really believe that the innocent recipient of obnoxious behaviour should have to pay many thousands of pounds to avoid it?0 -

I am unsure why this thread is getting longer when the answer to your question is We Do Not Know.
You have dismissed alternatives which means there is nothing else we can add.0 -

misterbarlow suggested a solution might be employing an honest parking company to charge fees to people who were not supposed to be parked there, but for some unexplained reason that didn't seem to be favoured.0
