  • I agree with Valli, you can pay using cc then paid that off in full at the next statement so no costs are incurred

Just had a text from dd3 I'm wedding dress shopping again at the weekend

Thanks Valli, and mrs moneypenny, ( I read that bit,pay it off in full in Martin Lewis's voice ! ) yes, I think I may do that. It does make sense.
When is the wedding mrs moneypenny? X

Long tailed tits, as per my avatar. Now ignoring the fact that my windows need cleaning (birds flicking seeds over them), how many tails can you count in this picture? Huh, the link keeps breaking - oh well if you look up Narc0lepsy in Photobucket there will be a folder called fairies and it is in there. I can usually post links.... Lovely things. The feeders are about 2ft away as my computer is by the window - distracting or what?

Can't see them on photobucket, but that would definately be very distracting for me too...lol I saw the one in your avatar though :D

Rushing round like a mad thing today; filled up with diesel on the way to uni; took ages to park at uni so 'free time' when I was going to finish some paperwork got eaten up. 1 lesson 1 assessment.
    DW on and done.
    Dancing lesson had.
Lots of new students emailed as one tutor is leaving so I'm taking them over.
    Milk cancelled for Friday.
Bag packed ready for long weekend.
General panic as I had wanted to fill in pay claim and finish a report before we went away, but unless I get to bed asap and get up early that won't happen. Have spent too long trying on 'funeral clothes'. Sudden panic as Catholic services used to expect you to wear a hat and now no time to check what others are doing as we are going straight from work tomorrow and I'll be out of the house by 9.15. Black scarf hastily shoved in bag.
At least the house is reasonable.

Hugs to all dealing with friends/family/themselves who are ill. Wishes for a speedy recovery Mr Iona

DH is feeling better today, taking it easy :) He has revised his ideas about returning to work on the railway at half term - he has realised that that is not likely to happen. Yet another horse piddle appointment arrived in the post :(

    Today I have
    - done monthly finance check
    - emailed friends and family re DH
    - done WMx2
    - S&S'd bathroom
    - S&S'd kitchen
    - done about 3 hours' studying in chunks
    - slept for 2.5 hours on the sofa immediately after breakfast
    - cooked lunch and evening meal
    - dozed while watching WDYTYA and other programmes this evening - and I'm still tired.

Tomorrow I will change and wash our bedding and do more studying. If the sun comes out after lunch I will go for a short walk down the lane. I need some fresh air. I might have to go shopping too. Someone is coming to see DH at about 5.30 and I'm out at church in the evening, so we'll have to have our main meal at lunchtime.

(((Hugs))) to Jazee, YorkshireLass, Valli, LW and all in need.

    Morning all...bit breezy here today!

Called RAC out to replace the battery on the car yesterday. Lovely chap. I don't think I've ever had a grumpy rescue man - not that it was a rescue...the car had been on our drive for more than a week...

Also had all the flooring material moved from the barn to the back garden, so the paddock is literally knee deep in mud thanks to the tractor wheels churning it up. But...underfloor heating pipes are down and the screed laying starts on Monday :j

Happy (belated) birthday to Mr Iona and fingers crossed for the next hospital visit x
Jazee - hope today is better hun and same for you Yorkie xxx
:T for the VAT return this time ATB - must be a good feeling.

Brain is befuddled this morning, so stucks, spoons, hugs and raspberries as required ladies.

Lots of flying planned this morning....hmmm, let's see how well I do...

Morning all. No flying again and the renovation work is now at least two days behind, so getting the kitchen back in to use by the weekend won't happen now.

Have had a walk with the dogs in the dark, will try to get out again in daylight later, but the paid stuff is mega busy today, calls back to back from 9.15 to 12.30 and then some more in the afternoon.

DH has just left for the hospital. Will have to tell my boss today that I'm going to need some time off. Will be strange talking about it in RL as family not told yet.

    Have a great day everyone.

Jazee (((hugs))) the flyladies will be a fab support for you, as I know.
    Hope Mr. Ionafan improves.

Just woken up. Usual 'been at work all day' vino not consumed last night. Go me.

Having a :coffee: in bed, then I'll shower. Trying to shift some paperwork/piles. Housework will wait to the weekend. Have done WM and TD.

  • Thanks for today's list which I will do tomorrow. I can't haul my naughty spitting vacuum upstairs , my new one arrives today so I am shifting all downstairs furniture and giving everywhere a proper going over and do today's list tomorrow. So whilst waiting for vacuum to be delivered I am sorting through all paper work and shredding.
  • Morning all,

Today is the day for flying!

It's been a busy week so far, yesterday was great as my girls were doing the young voices concert in Manchester so me and OH spent the afternoon in the big city and had a lovely meal beforehand.

Jazee and YL massive hugs xxxx.
    Rosemary hope the situation improves.
Iona gws vibes to your OH.

Right, shopping delivery due in the next hour, and I'm going to fly like mad while I'm waiting, then I'm going off for a quick bike ride, then hygienist visit, then a bit more flying, girls to the hairdressers after school, tiny bit more flying, DD2 swimming lesson. Oh and must squeeze in a dog walk and cooking and eating somewhere in all that!

    Catch you later x
