Morning all and thanks for all your comments and support. It means a lot being able to let off steam on here.
Hugs LW, Bossy, YL and anyone else who needs them.
LW - I have taken some of your previous advice today and have put a reminder on my phone to take my meds each day. Three times this week I have forgotten given the change of routine, once might be ok but three times is possibly pushing it.
So this morning I have fed me and the dogs, washed the breakfast dishes, walked the dogs, cleaned up in the garden and put rubbish and recycling out and....have actually done the ironing.
No hosp today, just the paid stuff. DH has gone back to work too but on reduced hours and needs to sort out a plan with his big boss today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
(((Hugs))) to Jazee, Lame Wolf, Honey Bear, YorkshireLass and Bossy.
I have just watched the sun rise into a clear blue sky, and now that DH has gone downstairs to make breakfast, I have flung open our bedroom windows to let in some fresh air. From my study window (also open) I can see catkins and snowdrops in bloom,; the birds are twittering madly, the horses in the fields opposite look decidedly happier than they did in the rain earlier this week, and altogether it's really spring-like. Long may it continue!
I managed everything off my short list yesterday, including nearly 3 hours studying, so I am hoping for another good day today. Plan is:
- shower and dress
- carry on working after breakfast (I've already done about 1.5 hours this morning) until we go out
- take DH to his hospital appointment
- tip/shopping/CS run on the way home
- S&S kitchen and bathroom; put away yesterday's washing that is now dry and aired
- get DH to tidy away his pile of books in the LR
- if possible, work in the garden for an hour this afternoon
- do some more studying
- no choir practice this evening, so just chill
Hope everyone has a better day than yesterday x0 -

I feel a lot better today, so I've given the sitting room a drubbing, had a shower, washed my hair, stripped the bed and I'm going to get on with flying stuff again after a couple of days in bed. Thanks for the GWS vibes - they defo worked.
(((Hugs))) for YL, and I hope your tests are over and done with quickly Bossy, and whatever ails you sorted out pronto.Better is good enough.0 -

Been quiet on here today - or is there something mysterious going on? Thanks for kind words, the news about BIL has hit me hard, he has been like my own brother for the past 25 years.
Anyhow, little flying done again today and although the sunshine was lovely it made the house look a bit neglected when I came home from the paid stuff early this aft. By the time I put the grocery shopping away, rounded up washing, dirty pots etc and put wm and dw on, emptied bins, cleaned loos etc it was time to collect DS1 from work and go to meet DS2 from the hairdressers. Late tea then I had to make myself get back on with some more paid stuff. Washing over airer and I have just got finished really.
DS1 (bless him) has just brought me a G&T. This was very kind but also gives him the excuse to have one himself. DS1 has some beer in the fridge which was paid for out of his own wages but he would rather drink my gin because its free!!! Not daft is he.
I will soon be in bed I think.0
