Had the most perfect day today with my three girls and best of all we found 'the' dress. DD has tried several on over the few visits to wedding shops eve had but this one reduced me to tears when she came out of the dressing room, her sisters were stunned into silence. The lady at the shop was so lovely and made sure we were all happy with the purchase.
Hugs to everyone especially lwSPC~12 ot 124

Ooh Mrs MP that is so exciting. I can't wait to start dress shopping with DD later this year.
So good morning Flyladies.
Am hoping for a sunny day to get the bedding on the line and need to catch up with all the rest of the washing. The day will be a pottering one.
Paperwork to do for DH work.
Do as much flying as possible given the chaos.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
I have a sore throat again. Every weekend I get a sore throat and cant sleep because of it and by Tuesday it is gone. Is it just tiredness? Anyhow that means a rubbish nights sleep and me feeling a bit sorry for myself.
But I have plans for the day. DS2 slept over at a friends so I wlll go and strip his bed in a minute and get the bedding in the wash. I want to do a roast chicken for tea and do a little baking.
Need to do DHs month end bills too.
I have had an idea about doing a decluttering/deep cleaning list so that when I have the time and motivation I can go to my list and decide what to have a go at. I did the whole Kon-Marie thing last year but there are bits of my house that are starting to get messy again. Straight away I have come up with the shoe rack in the utility room, the baskets at the bottom of the LR bookcase, the drawer in the LR lamp table and the top shelves of our built in wardrobe. There is definitely stuff to be flung.
Anyway drinking coffee and waiting for paracetamol to work first!0 -
for the sore throat Yorkie. Got one too - feels like I'm trying to swallow Lego.
Carp night for me. Small got up twice coughing and crying and MutleyBoy had two seizures (first ones in nearly three weeks though, so much better). DH has been warned not to upset me today.
Anyway, kids fed and watered, pets ditto and having a cuppa before another session sorting in the house. Spent two hours yesterday going through boxes, sorting and flinging whenever possible and I'm in the right mood to do it today
Loving hearing about wedding dresses. Sadly, my mother CBA to do that sort of thing with me for either occasion. And as I have two boys, I won't get to
Oh, and rude raspberries to insensitive people upsetting Wolfie. My pets are part of my family and I totally get how you feel. Ooh, I think I'm in a feisty mood today...watch out!0 -
Morning all,
Did some more bits of flying yesterday, cleaned the bath and polished the taps, remade the bed, cleaned the piano (it was v. dusty) and generally tidied.
Today I will join Dizzy in the sorting and flinging stuff. We still have a ton of stuff in our old bedrooms that we haven't touched since we moved to the new bedrooms at Christmas. Fer-ling! Need to get the rooms emptied so we can start on the upstairs renovations. Skip coming next week Argh!
YL is your sore throat at the weekend because you are at home more? Could it be central heating drying it out?
Have good days all x0 -
YSL and Dizzy, hope your sore throats ease soon.
Dizzy, my DDs fiances mother only has boys but DD is intending to involve her in every stage of the dress choosing. Maybe that will happen for you in the future too.
Just eating crumpets which are delicious and then I'm going to walk the dogs. Have an errand to run.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning alll
Feel like I have a cold coming on but, at the same time feel ok, full of GUAG!
Yestday I went to foodmarket and helped on Traidcraft stall. I decluttered two boxes of biscuit, bought in sale, to food bank, and took unused baby stuff for another charity, which my neice had sent up.
Came back, had Slimming world lunch, cleaned kitchen, bathroom and then made a veggie chilli and cooked up a batch of marmalade oranges for marmalade jelly which I'll finish today.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
OH is sitting with Kelpie today downstairs so for once in a blue moon I'm up in my office clearing paperwork. *relief*Better is good enough.0

Not sure where yesterday went. Or this morning for that matter, now that I look at the clock! I've read through the thread, but nothing since I read the words St Bernard puppy has really stayed in! So sorry to read about Jack spaniel, LW, and you are doing so well with these new bookings. Lovely to hear about wedding dress shopping Mrs MP.
Went for a very muddy run this morning, and the snowdrops in the woods are just coming out. It will be gorgeus in a week or so. WM run, HHI cleared, and some sewing bits cleared. My seed order arrived yesterday so I'm looking through the packets. No idea how I thought I was going to fit it all in...
DH shipped off to FiL today with a lunch for them both. At least then we know that he has eaten a decent meal. DD is ensconced (?) in her room, although I suspect the homework is not yet done. All in all, a bit of a pottering day.0 -
Mrs MP wonderful news that The Dress has been found. Is it a "meringue" type?
BM I'd love to look after a St Bernard puppy, but I fear our little bungalow isn't big enough to take giant breeds.
Yesterday's meet'n'greet was very stressful; the little dog was extremely vocal, which made conversation difficult, and he has a definite "personality" shall we say. Still, we've said we'll be happy to have him, just waiting to hear from my "boss" if his owners have decided to send him here or if they're going to see if a Carer with an all-female household is available (he dislikes men).
Some good news though - another of my regulars from the old company has signed up with he new company, and they want to send their hound to me for her holiday in May - she's lovely, and has been here many times.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
