Hugs Jazee hope you get some answers soon, and some much better luck xxx

Not been around much, feeling grotty, had some lady tests and being referred for ultrasound, meh. My head is full and my left eye is leaking. Think I need a sofa afternoon.

Fairly tidy here, laundry not in bad shape, so I might give myself some time off.

I can do some reading for my assignment so I don't feel too lazy :p

  • Still waiting for shopping (five minutes before it's late)
    In the meantime I have:

    made beds
    Put on DW
    Wiped leather sofa
Hoovered other sofa (dog not impressed)
    Swapped all the cushions round
    Ten minutes decluttering conservatory
Cleaned front door inside and out (it was very bad)
Cleared all the toys from the bathroom (it looked like a toyshop)
    Wiped the worktops
Had a coffee and ate a biscuit.

    Back to it!

Major case of the CBA. Went back to bed after the gym.

Need to get some flying done before heading out for the evening. Quick S&S of the kitchen and hall coming up.

(((HUGS))), posivibes, coping vibes etc for those who need them - esp. YL, Jazee, Ionafan, Bossy. ("lady tests" sounds unpleasant).

Not really felt much like posting; bad enough to deal with sad news about a dear friend, but when you get unhelpful people doing the "but it's only a dog" bit - sorry, I tend to lose it.

Does it matter that he had four legs, a tail and fur? He was a dearly loved friend, and I am devastated. I don't have a lot of human friends; the dogs, particularly my regular visitors are my friends.

Sorry, rambling - pushing off now.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Your not rambling. I am sorry to hear about the lose of your furry friend. I am like you, I don't have a lot of human friends ( my choice) but my little scruffy furry friend always by my side except for an hour a day when he takes himself off to lie on DDs bed. He will be ten in a fortnight and I get really upset at the thought of losing him. So I totally get what your feeling. xxxxx
  • LW if people don't get it they are not worth worrying about. Hope you are OK.

Soldiering on. Busy day at the paid stuff - straight from one job to the other. Half an hour at home to get changed then dropped DS2 at footie and went for a run. I did make the bed and set the dishwasher going but that's it. Sitting in car waiting for DS to finish then home for a shower and food.

    Jazee thinking about you x

Virtual supporting hugs lw (I know you don't do real ones) we can understand how you feel and know you are grieving a loss is a loss and whatever species a friend is a friend.

Hugs to anyone else who needs one, had a quick fly round between paid stuffs and just fed everyone, so feet up with a cuppa and cross stitch now.

Will spend tomorrow morn catching up assuming I don't get another phone call.

Lots of ((hugs)) to everyone coping with all the carp being thrown at them. There seems to be a lot of it flying about at the moment. Go easy on yourselves, especially YL, Jazee, LW and Bossy. X

Not a lot to update, although I have managed to play a bit of catch up on the lists today. Usual WM run, HHI cleared, dinner cooked (butter chicken curry in the slow cooker, it was yum!) and cleared up. The bathroom finally got its clean, and I managed a sneaky peak into DD's room before work to get the floor vacuumed.

Lunches for tomorrow sorted, and the kitchen surfaces wiped....again. Forgot to sweep the floor, and quite frankly, can't now be bothered. So there! I ought to take a look at the finances stuff, but I think that is going to have to wait another day.

(((Hugs))) Jazee. It's not moaning, it's sharing something with people who care about you. I'd forgotten you had a diary, bad me. Another (((hug))).
Just had a text from dd3 I'm wedding dress shopping again at the weekend

    Exciting!

So sorry to hear about the loss of your much loved four-legged friend, LW. I know exactly how you feel about the loss and the silly comments people make about it only being an animal. *slap*

Still with the lurgy here. Tidying of public areas of the house, washing up and dog walking happening but not much else.
    Better is good enough.
