I agreed a 12 month deal for £7.50 in Dec, so does this price increase include me?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

Actual payments are rarely fixed. It's usually a fixed discount so if you have 30% off you only pay 70% of the increase, but a free service stays free; hence the need to answer the previous post.
Not sure without checking, but there may be exceptions where rises do not apply within a certain time of taking up the service.0 -

I was switched from o2 and had been charged this since. It is for Unlimited Broadband. I rang them in Dec and agreed to accept a 12 month deal at this price.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. The price rises are:
Line Rental +£1.59
Broadband Unlimited +£2.50
So as @teddysmum says above it would probably be a percentage of those rises based on your discount. Which of them would depend on whether you're paying £7.50 for the BB or £7.50 for line rental. For you, paying £7.50 for the line rental would result in the smallest increase unless your prices really are fixed for the minimum term. At that price you'd be daft to change anyway.0 -
And we have touch down!!!
On my very last attempt before going for Virgin today I've got an acceptable deal (for me, ymmv).
£1.59 discount per month which accounts for the line rental increase and £48 credit (half of the anytime calls cost for the year).
ADSL Broadband - Free
Line Rental - £17.40
Pay as you call (we are very, very light users of the landline)
Boxsets - £14.10
18 month contract.
Considering we are probably moving this year going for Virgin would have been a gamble but I was fed up with Sky enough to take the chance.
With the credit I've had in December and today I wont have paid them anything for three and a half months. Good enough for us.
Once again though the only way I can get anything is via live chat with the Asian agents, the UK agents seem so dispirited when you talk to them.0 -

Seems expensive compared to the January MSE Sky offer that worked out at £12 per month for phone & BB, add Anytime calls and monthly charge is £20 - also got a Cash back of £50 on this offer, so less than £16 per month, excluding Sky Hub charge of £9.95 - glad I signed when i did as current offer are weak to say the least.0 -

I was already under contract for that one (never even saw it) so immaterial to me. I dare say plenty of people have got a better deal than yours, it's what's available at the time that counts.0 -
i called yesterday, currently have free broadband and was offered £1.59 discount if I take out 18 month contract. asked for credit on account but was told no more offers available0

Credits are very unusual with phone/broadband and are mainly for taking tv.0
