The offers come and go. I left due to a poor offer (just free ADSL and likelihood of the usual November £1 increase, not protected by pre payment, hiking the full price line rental). Then came the combination price scam, but this was followed by some good offers.0 -

No idea... I don't mind doing a bit of haggling, but I think Sky is making it too much work for an existing customer to get a fair deal. I was willing to sign up with them for another 12-mths if they would offer me the old price (something like £17-18 inc BB and line), which was already higher than the promo offer they were running for new customers. But they said no, they insisted that nearly £25 was the best they could offer me. I signed up with Origin few days ago (I know, plenty of bad reviews about them, but no ISP has great rating anyway, so I thought I'd take a chance with the cheapest). Funnily I did receive an email from Sky today, but it was about their price increases! So, so far they haven't shown any sign of wanting my loyalty.0 -
I signed up for the MSE Sky offer of BB & Phone for £12.00 per month, plus the £9.95 charge they impose for the router. Spent more than an hour today with Retentions department with regards a payment that should have been made for covering PlusNet cancellation fee (long story, not my fault), which I've yet to receive, as well as complaining about the £1.59 line rental increase I was instructed about by email on 28th Jan. Long and short of it, was instructed the MSE offer I'd signed up for was not impacted by the present increases, hence its still line rental at £10 per month and £2 pm for BB - my £30 credit allegedly has been paid out - not so - so again waiting for that, but still happy if my LR, BB and anytime calls comes in at £20 per month, not withstanding the fact I have £50.00 cash back coming from them also via TopCashBack, thus dropping monthly charge to below £16 pm, did have to pay additional for Sky Q Hub, so actual cost per month is approx. £17.59, which I can live with if all pans out - we shall see in early March!0

Spoke to Sky yesterday and was offered £31.49 per month for Line Rental & Fibre Unlimited if I agree to a new 12 month contract.
Price would be £38.99 per month without offer.
Anyone get a better deal to stay?0 -

The £38.99 has been reduced to £30 on their website here for existing customers.0 -

I was offered £30 and the installation waived just yesterday but would have had to pay £9.95 P&P (they'd have probably waived that if I'd pushed but wasn't interested).0 -

Daylight robbery, considering that the combination price at the end of 2016, meant the usually free broadband went up to the £10 that few hagglers ever paid.
We are trapped, as broadband has become a part of life , so doing without would be rather unpleasant.0 -
Is it just my naturally cynical nature or do others find that when they try to chat and pick the " i want to talk about my account" option, they are never available to chat but if you pick something else,,well they are all ears !!
Come to think of it, do i even need to chat? Surely i can just initiate the switch via another supplier.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
I guess you could but you risk being hit with early termination charges.
They state clearly on their price increase letter/email/website that if you want to leave due to the price increase you do need to notify them. That includes if you want to transfer your services to another provider.0
