  • Yesterday was a NSD yey. Now at 6/15

Spendy night tonight - ordering takeaway (Pizza Hut) We don't go all out for Valentines but a night where we don't have to cook is lovely. :) the ration budget includes any takeaways so I'll update my spends later!

On another note - MY CREDIT CARD IS PAID!!! Balance = £0.00 :j:j:j

    1) I'm grateful that my credit card is paid off
    2) I'm grateful for takeaway tonight
    3) I'm grateful that I have a wonderful OH. I'm in a happy mood, it's rubbing off on me!

Hi all, sorry it has been so long since I checked in. I will try and catch up with all the posts.

abundant - I add dry oats straight from the pack, now my fruit free week is over I also add raisins or chopped apple or pear, with a teaspoon of honey (this is a natural sugar and limited to breakfast).

I think you will be okay using gluten free flour for the flatbreads, it is all trial and error on our part, we just use a basic recipe and use alternative ingredients that we have in. Please let me know how you get on.

I forgot to get weighed this morning so will weigh in tomorrow.
Well stock take done and we have loads of foods with sugar in or processed so feeding this to family when they call as can't bare to throw it away.

Today DD1 with baby & DD2 with 3 boys called (half term for DD2 ), what a brilliant way to spend valentines, it was noisy and boisterous and oh so much fun. DH took the 3 boys out to play football for a while before taking them all home.

Also received news that DS has received a promotion at work, so now sitting down and counting our lucky stars.

I will try and put another recipe on tomorrow, hope you have all had a lovely day.

I am grateful for having healthy children and grandchildren, a loving husband and that I am able to resist all the valentine chocolates.

Thanks for the kind messages. Today was a roller coaster of thoughts and emotions. I'm generally rather jolly person, got my diy, crafting, kids, DH, garden, job and more that I love (not in that order). And well aware that I'm my own happiness smith (not sure if that makes sense). Much better now also that i rallied around and invited some friends round for a party this weekend. Oh well might start counting next year as 39b, lol

Prob just a midlife crisis. Might get a motorbike, lol

  • My right hand has been chopped off hence I have not been on - just call me Hook!!
No, seriously my PC has gone kaput and I am struggling without it - I do everything on it. I do have a Kindle Fire but not ideal for YNAB, MSE or banking. Have nicked DD's laptop for now so I can catch up on the thread and check banking.
I have reserved a new PC online so can collect tomorrow but it is a lot of money which could go towards debt...

Sunday was a NSD and due to the PC breaking my few hours to myself turned in to about 6 hours as I was bored without the PC - usually I read blogs, do YNAB, read MSE so instead I laid on the bed and read a book, some newspapers and coloured while drinking coffee and eating GF jammie dodgers!! £10 still in tact.

Monday and today have also been NSD's so takes me to 9 (I think) but it looks like tomorrow won't be and it will be a large spend unfortunately.
  • Today I am grateful for taxis, for another chance to talk to my sister face to face, for fresh air, for being at home with dh and dd, fo fresh bedlinen.

Mr Tumble/Justin was an old colleague's family friend who said he is very wealthy and somewhat of a ladies man!

I can't stand his programmes and DFIL took DS to see Justin's House when it toured a couple of years ago. I would rather have stuck needles in my eyes

DS used to love In the Night Garden and would cry when it finished :rotfl:

Ha ha loving the scuttlebutt on Justin! When I had DS I remember several of the Mum's thinking Mr Grow was a bit of all right :) but not Mr Tumble:eek:
