NSD no. 9 for me today.
Good day in work, thought we were 2p under on the till, until I realised I'd counted two 2p pieces as just 2p. So we were correct to the pennya rare occurrance (normally we're 10/20p adrift either way)
BF is cooking chili for tea, I have done a little cleaning and even squeezed in a quick hour with my video games.
Today I am grateful for:
1) A nice smooth day at work
2) It's not my week to cook
3) A mis-understanding between me and a colleague has been cleared today.

I am not bothered either way by Mr Tumble, little man loves iggle piggle and especially the tomblyboos - spelling?! He has them tucked in with him at night and we hear him singing their song to them as he goes asleep
NSD number 2 for mebeen feeling low level queasy all day ( joys of pregnancy!) and was so tempted to say can't be bothered cooking, go get something to hubby but ended up making beany bake fajitas for us - super quick and easy to do. 2 tins of beans down - 7 to go!
Went looking at maternity pants in mothercare - so bloated now, only my waterproof walking pants and jogging pants are comfy. £30 for the jeans though that weren't that special so I didn't bother. Last time I got a bundle of 2 pants and 3 tops off ebay for £20 so will have a trawl this week.
Still no top up food shopping needed. Got meals planned till Saturday when we'll do our shop. Still lots of bits left in the cupboards & freezer to use up. I've run out of tomatoes today which is a disaster! I love tomatoes so am going to miss them with my lunches the rest of this week. Might have to give up a no spend day. Or persuade my hubby to buy me a lovely big punnet from the market for Valentines Day so I don't have to give up a NSD
3 things I'm grateful for are:-
Fresh bedding on for tonight - feels so much comfier
Little man sleeping all the way through last night

Have not been on since Thursday (? poss even Wednesday) due to being away at a family wedding over the weekend. Had a lovely time away, first time down in Essex so it was nice to see somewhere different. Got back up late last night and took today off work as well so I had plenty of time to recover
Today I'm grateful for a good run this morning, getting all I needed in Lidlee, carpets being down in flat, a yummy sausage casserole for tea and catching up on the rugby I missed over the weekend.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Today I am grateful for a famiy friend trying to work out bham's policy on garden grabbing for me as it took him just 10 mins to say it was unclear, and we should call them - saved me hours of reading, for getting a run done this afternoon, for a much quieter day with mum, for some laughter with mum, for easy-to-watch tv.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Hello shipmates. Just realised I also fell victim to the big black hole that eats posts. My last post yesterday disappeared in the wonderful world of the Ethernet. Nowhere to be found.
Mrs. Hubbard thanks for your kind words about the EF. Sometimes I pinch myself coz it is such a new thing to me and my husband. After spending nearly twenty years of marriage in the debt trap, having some form of savings feels so surreal. It hasn't been easy though. It's been a long hard slog and we're only halfway through our target. It is so tempting to lose focus and slide back into debt again. (We did sort of lost our focus when I stayed away from the NST forum.) I'm glad that I'm back again with the fellow DFW/NST and the support and encouragement here is such a positive influence in my life.
Yesterday was NSD no. 7, yay!
Today had been a busy day, starting with an early appointment at my doctor's surgery (8am) for a cervical smear, then a dental appointment, then to Nationwide to open a regular saver's account to drip feed the EF as advised by Martin. Then off to a manic day at work. Just as well my knee has fully recovered. My hubby picked me up from work and he took me to a 3-course Italian meal (not really a Valentine's meal, more of a post hectic day fixer upper). Only cost us £28 for him, me and DS3 including drinks. And it was his Isle of Aphrodite treat for all of us, such selfless love hahah! Dining out and food budget remained untouched.
I'm retiring to my cabin early as I have an ever more manic day tomorrow. Time for my beauty rest, but before I go... here's something to ponder upon..."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -

Hi everyone
Sfd yesterday signature will be updated in a moment. Had a busy day for me today and hopefully I will sleep well tonight as I'm up at 6.30 in the morning, ready for babysitting duties.
It's been a lovely day here and managed to get my washing partially day outside.Had a small shop today as have visitors the next few days, I will love to see them but I do wish people would give me more notice when they want to spend a couple of days stopping off here, it feels as if they are using me as a half way point between their holiday and home down south!!! Ok rant over now, going up to bed for a read before the light goes off

Busy day for me. Lots of little cleaning jobs + washing up mountain (it breeds when my back is turned), washing in and out of the machine and on the line then back in when it was going dark.
So tired but want to do some more before bed then I can relax properly (with clean sheets, pillowcases and my duvet and duvet cover back (cover has been mia and duvet didn't come back upstairs after being on the line - suspect it is buried under people's coats and other discarded clothing).
Today I am grateful for
finally being able to kneel down properly (did it 3 times on the run and got up with both hands full, just used an elbow on the bed to steady myself instead of having to push myself up with both hands,
for clean sheets and bedding (and not sharing a bed with embroidery/ notbooks and miscellaneous clutter)
for sunshine after the last few cold, gloomy days.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0
