    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

    Morning diary world

Christmas has been and gone  How quick was that!
Hope you all had a lovely one.

The new year looms and I'm itching to get started on the next 12 months and see how much I can pay off. I've changed my signature because I began to feel a little disheartened every time I looked at it. I understand what my fellow debt buster debtaghh means now when she said it also.

My sealed pot that I add money too as and when has given up the ghost and I need a new one. I plan to search the house for an alternative container that I can use and get adding any loose change etc ASAP. I like this challenge.

I have listed some items on eBay and hopefully will make a little extra on these. I have watchers so fingers crossed.

Grocery shopping done nice and early this morning. I was back home before many even got out of bed. we didn't need much as we still have stores from Christmas. Will be meal planning properly from now on as I have taken my eye off the ball and let this one slide.

Feeling a little :( today woke up with a sore throat and a banging headache. Bought myself some lemsip drinks (well lidl home brand) and plan to snuggle on the settee with my hot water bottle :)

Had no luck with finding a decent pot that I can't dip in to so I ventured out to the pound shop and treated myself to a new sealed minions one. Already added £10 to get me started. Must remember to add to it regularly. Will keep adding to it until around December but If I feel it's going particularly well I may open it around the summer and add this to our mystery holiday fund :)

Spent the afternoon upstairs on the bed with a hot water bottle and a lemsip. DH has football on :(.

I have a new 2019 diary and spent some time planning the months ahead. I have written in on the dates that I need to pay different things along with some small planned overpayments. This helps to keep me on task and 'motivated'. Some of our bills I plan weekly as DH gets paid weekly and saying it for example 16 weeks left to go on a particular one sounds less than 4 months :rotfl:

Feel a little better but dreading waking up during the night again as it feels like I've been swallowing razor blades

Hi dfwprincess and thanks for popping in :)

I like the idea of a holiday too and will see how the next 6 months ish pan out finance wise. I so want to get to the point where I feel I've made some more progress.

I am just about to go to bed with a lemsip drink and watch a bit of tele

    Hi all
Today has turned out a good day so far :D

Had 2 letters from Halifax telling me they added interest and fees when they shouldn't have. (I can't say that I'd noticed). Anyway they have refunded back to our loan accounts the sums of £485.73 and £310.67 these will reduce the balances :j. Both loan accounts are still waaaayyy too high but its given me a huge boost to start the new year on a positive,

Not much partying will be going on here tonight as DH is working tomorrow and to be honest would rather stay home (boring old me)

35 years ago I would've been getting ready with friends for a marathon night out and not even remember how I got home at the end of it. (Happy memories)

Happy new year to all and yours. Let's hope it's a happy, healthy positive one for all

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Wow 2019 already. I ended up going to bed early last night I felt rough and couldn't stay awake anymore. I woke up at 3.30am and thought isn't it quiet. I heard no fireworks or neighbours banging their saucepans. Apparently it was super noisy outside and I slept through it all

Still feeling a little _pale_ today and have not done much at all. Just about to cook DH something to eat and then I will run myself a nice bubble bath and relax. I looked in the mirror and was like  I haven't washed my hair and it looks like I've invented a new style.

DH offered to cook but we actually want to eat it :rotfl::rotfl: Just having a fry up as I'm sick of cooking and eating dinners with roast potatoes, mash or boiled with gravy.

I hope there aren't too many hangovers out there
