    Just as well you spotted that regarding the RAC cover, are you looking for another insurer, reading books on car mechanics or putting the money into the EF? It's amazing the costs we can save if willing and able to learn a few skills ourselves (my husband re-covered a flat roof and saved around £400 but that was unusual, our repair skills are usually more around me sewing up holes in socks!)

    it makes good reading I can tell you. One positive is that I have defaults due to be removed in October of this year.   Wow 6 years past since the accounts defaulted already. 

    I don't really care when the defaults are removed to be honest. I'll never get credit again. But it's nice to know that things are improving slightly.  Not much just slightly :p
