Hmmm
Just wrote a post, went to the loo and came back to find it gone. Thought I'd pressed reply as well... Anyway, it wasn't much to report. Another busy day at work without a minute to myself. I've decided to give myself the evening off after so many late finishes this week - I feel like it's the same old story with me. Too much work, and feeling tired.
Not a nsd - I chipped in for a collection for someone at work whose mam has just died so a worthy cause. I'm now desperate for payday to come roundso more creativity required over the weekend food and entertainment wise.
Hope everyone is doing ok, and welcome to all newbies
Ally, congrats on the contract.
Foxgloves - I wish you lived closer because your marmalade sounds gorgeous. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Amazed that we still only have 1 car and are surviving.Had a comedy moment last night when the car swap was taking place at Tesco car park... Fine, I thought...until I realised he hadn't told me where he parked! Had visions of me walking round the car park for hours in the dark looking for a dark grey car!! :rotfl: Thankfully he was v thoughtful and parked just where I come into the car park (which is kinda round the back) so I was lucky! :rotfl:
Thanks.
LOL after work yesterday I couldn't find my car in the big company car park. Then I remembered...I always park in section Z....but I'd parked in section A as I dropped a colleague off at another entrance. Walked all the way to section Z....then it dawned on me...and I hiked to the other section with my colleagues laughing loudly!

A good day today
I'm away tomorrow night(been planned for ages and all paid for)- any spends needed have been put to one side and I will draw out in the morning.
Have snacks ready for the train, just cooking some YS goodies to take aswell, and will take a flask to stop me being tempted to buy anything as its a very long journey:(
Cashed out £13 from quidco
IVA payment going out tomorrow-5 left to go:T
Tried the cats on Tesc*s own brand of tinned food. Result!!
They're doing much better on it than Whisk*as
Actually rested up (have to be really careful with my health) so checked all accounts are up to date.
Hope everyone else has had a good money saving day xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ha ha Ally - that is funny :rotfl: Just think you could report that on the small things board as 'free exercise'
I've just done our Inaugural Full Year Budget Analysis  One year of YNAB logging (almost) every penny spent! Well that was an eye opener! :T Actually feels really good setting up our budget for 2017 with the right figures (yes, I know I am late to the 2017 budget party but better late than never). I'm earning about £230 more per month now I've paid off my student loan and don't pay for parking so that is making a nice difference. Also OH has another 5 full-time pays to come in before his contract is up. This debt busting sounds so doable, but also want to make sure we have some savings behind us when OH's job ends.
Have a good night all - I'm off to pick up OH and drop off some of his colleagues too - saving money for others too :A0 -

I feel like an evil criminal mastermind:
Car insurance renewal quote was £314....I just negotiated a renewal for £236 for my wife and I to drive our Micra. This year we can afford to pay it off in one shot rather than monthly.

Happy Kitties, mine don't like Whisk@s either, I only found this out when Mr T had a glitch on it and had priced the 44 pouch box the same price as the 12 pouch box and I ordered 10 of them on my online shop
Luckily they had to substitute most of them with our usual Fe1ix and the Whisk@s was given to a friend on benefits for his cat.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
