I have found my old Nokia 5110 which was on the Vodafone network
IMEI 490542105393852 can this be unlocked. Thank you0 -
the phone number is for the sim card - not the phone
if the o2 sim is working in other phones then it and the 6310i was def on voda originally then it is unlocked. sim reg failed is usually a sign of a barred phone.
phone the sevice provider and they will check for you. sometimes the worng phone can be blocked
Thanks, I'll contact them & see what they say.
I really appreciate your help:T0 -

Tried both but it just says Sim was not restricted.
Put a couple of sims in and there is no network signal0 -

It sounds like the phone is barred, if alternative sims work and give that message then the phone could well have been blocked for some reason. Are you entering the code without a sim card in the phone, if not then try that but I would hazzard a guess the phone is blocked.0 -

Thanks for the help but did try with and without Sim. Not used the phone for a couple of years, maybe Vodafone blocked it as it wasn't in use for such a long period. Wanted to get it working to use some credit up then to trade it in to get £10 trade in on a New phone. Is it possible to get these unblocked?0 -

I don't have a Voda sim. Would be grateful if you are able to find out :T
Else it could be the phone is faulty and can't detect a network signal0
