what was the error message?
it may need a different sim in to enter the code
has anyone already tried any codes in the past? as you only get 5 tries

Thanks again, this code didn't work either. The message both times was simply 'code error'. I haven't tried unlocking the phone before, the phone's been unused since I got a new one about 6 months ago, only thought about unlocking it because my son's phone has just died!
