Just tryed another programme and its saying not blocked, like I said try contacting voda, if you cant let me know and will call them for you as I have a few voda sims here I can call them on.

Just phoned vodafone and they said its not a vodafone IMEI number, can you try any othe network sims in it ?

Hi, I have an 18 month contract with 3, my phone they sent was a sony ericsson w800i. As I am happy with just a cheap phone(as kids wreck everything!) can it be changed to a payg on O2 for my brother? If not for free then any suggestions on the cheapest way. Many thanks for your help - you guys are stars!

The phone was given to me with the Voda Sim 3 or 4 years ago, so I thought it was locked to that network originally

I have tried Virgin, T-mobile, O2 and Orange and I don't get any signal so I guess the phone itself is at fault. Thanks for going that extra mile to help much appriciated :T

im sure this model is 900mhz only so will only work on voda and o2 anyway.
orange had their own version (nk402 i think) which covered gsm 1800 mhz.
if it doesnt say restricted with voda and o2 then it is already unlocked anyway. it may not show up as a voda imei depending where it was purchased, as it may have been a sim free phone

all code attempts have already been used - needs direct unlock by hardware now

this is the nokia section ?
im sure w800i doesnt work on 3 so are you sure this is the correct model?
if so there is no free way but can be done easily enough by unlocking stall for about £10
